Really enjoyed this game, it isn’t necessarily the most mentally challenging game, but there is lots to do and is great fun! There are a couple of physical/skill challenges in it that won’t be to everyone’s taste. GM and owner were really welcoming and lovely to talk to and happy to accommodate us as a walk in.

Not your average game at all, reminded me more of a treasure hunt with a twist, but, a couple of clever a puzzle nevertheless to give that ah yes moment of satisfaction. Was still a lot of fun to play.

You wouldn’t believe this was a first time they’d made an escape room. Overall a really fun experience, it’s not the most sophisticated room I’ve ever played, however, the game is well put together, with a great narrative that flows through the game and a fantastic use of the space so much so you forget it’s just a pop up game. Where they use tech, it’s generally well done although we had a slight hitch with one lock towards the end, it was well dealt with by the GM and I’m sure they’ll smooth that out. GM (and also owner, designer and narrative creator) was friendly and welcoming.

Loved playing this game, was so much fun, definitely a favourite! The theme and puzzles tie into each other really well and the game has a superb flow to it. The theme is very novel and there has clearly been a lot of thought and effort put into how the game and the puzzles work and fit together. Puzzle variety is really good too with a really nice balance between, tech, basic locks and the need to go through the things you find to get the right information, some nice moments of humour in the game too.

This is a fun game, staging/theming works well, although requires very good observational skills; for us we had to take a couple of hints as at times we were just not sure what we were supposed to do next. There is a "dark" section during the game, but unlike other "dark" sections I've had in previous games, this was actually well done, it isn't too dark that you can't see what you are doing, and its fairly clear and obvious what you need to do in order for to be light again rather than fumbling around in the dark not sure what to do.

This is simply one of my favourite games to date, we played this second the day we were there and were so glad we had done, Questionable Ethics was a great starter, but Southern Discomfort for us was even more fun. The theme and set were both superb, puzzles were fun, fitted the theme really well and in a couple of places laugh out loud, I do enjoy a game that makes you laugh because it is genuinely funny. As with their other game, GM was great and stayed in character wonderfully. The ending is the so well done too, none of the "oh so that its" you can experience playing some games.

This is a very good game, fun to play, some really good puzzles and excellent theme, the GM stays in character for the whole experience and are great fun too, chatting to them after they are really enthusiastic about escaping in general and that enthusiasm shows through in the quality of their games.

This is a slightly unusual game where completing the game in time is not the complete objective, the game is structured around solving as many puzzles as possible and you are awarded points for doing so, the aim to get as big a points total as possible. The game is divided up into periods and for each period there are main puzzles and if you complete that quickly enough you have the opportunity to solve bonus puzzles. I think we had run out of steam after completing the extended Chamber of Champions not long before playing this and didn't get to any bonus puzzles. The game is quite high tech and a lot of the puzzles are based around interacting with light and symbols some of which didn't feel completely intuitive to us.

quite difficult

We took on the extended 90 minute challenge which requires you to solve every puzzle and soon learnt that is not a challenge for the faint-hearted.  The pro review explains the game mechanics so I won't reiterate that, but to say, if you love the challenge of solving puzzles and opening padlocks this is a game worth playing. It seemed overwhelming at first wit so much information which would provide you with the solutions to each of the numerous puzzles so you need to stay focused and remember carefully what you've already used to solve a puzzle and communicate this carefully between team members, as a 2 we had to work almost exclusively individually until we got to the last few that we'd both passed up earlier in the game and the final meta puzzle. Theming is simple but effective and the room is not particularly big, but it works well and doesn't need to be more elaborate.

This is a fun little game that they only bring out for the festive season before it reverts to the usual game to occupy this space. They have crammed a significant amount of puzzles into a relatively small space. Puzzles are occasionally a bit too much of a leap of logic, but generally good. GM was good if a touch enthusiastic, clues were delivered regularly on pieces of paper even if not requested so we would go back for an occasional clue and find hints relating to puzzles we'd persevered with and already solved. But overall a fun hour.

The room has great theming and all the puzzles fit nicely, a lot of them are more physical style puzzles and the first task had us stumped for quite a while, but overall a fun game to play.

We played two at Escapologic on the day and this was our favourite, some clever puzzles and a nice between needing to use your brain and undertaking more physical puzzles. Some of the writing/symbols were fairly tricky to read though.

Overall enjoyed playing this game GM was generally good, however, it does feel that a lot of the clue pieces and props had been inherited from when the game under Handmade Mysteries and could do with a refresh. It was also far too dark at times, making the game excessively difficult, I don't mind difficult puzzles at all, but puzzles shouldn't be difficult because you can't see properly what you are doing.

Really enjoyed playing this room, its not the most challenging on an intellectual/puzzle level, however, its seriously good fun to play. A somewhat humble and understated beginning leads on to a beautifully designed main set full of surprises!

quite difficult

Played this on the same game as Mutiny and equally as challenging to complete as a 2, very happy to have done so as apparently more puzzles in this room than in Mutiny. As with the other room, great design and staging, a huge space in which to complete all the challenges.

quite difficult

Great room, loads to do, but is tough to finish as a 2. We didn't really waste much time making errors or getting stuck but didn't quite make it. It did get a bit frustrating at times, as we didn't get the same kind of nudge from the GM as I've been used to in the past, especially on a couple of occasions where we'd essentially figured out all the component parts of a puzzle but hadn't located where to input the solution. I would still recommend it, but given our experience level, mid-30s in terms of number of games completed, wish I had done the room with more players.

Really fun game, hard work to complete as a 2, but not unachievable, just need to make sure the logical part of your brain is on top form, some of the puzzles take a bit of working out. As others have said, interacting with the AI makes for a unique and very different experience!

Really well designed game, and despite our unexpectedly quick time (Venus took us a lot longer earlier that same day), we didn't feel we hadn't had value for money, great fun and very satisfying game to play. Puzzles tie in well to the theme and the narrative flows well through the game.

Played: 22 Aug 2021 Team size: 2 Time taken: 50:48 Outcome: Successful escape!

Solid if unspectacular game, overall good fun and well themed room, however, somewhat of an overuse of padlocks we felt which at times felt like we were solving puzzles for the sake of solving puzzles at times rather than to achieve the objective of the game.

Another beautifully designed and immensely fun and unique game to play with some delightful humour, slightly curious final puzzle that I wasn't quite convinced about, but that is such a small detail in an otherwise great room.

This is a beautifully designed game, with quite unique elements I've never seen in an escape room before, puzzles and narrative generally fit well together, thoroughly recommend!
