The room had some good puzzles and funny moments but seemed a bit more linear than the other rooms at Hounds and not really enough to do for an experienced team of four. Hosting was good as it was with all the rooms we did.
Enjoyable room at Hounds, which we whizzed through as a 5. Fun puzzles & great decor. Highlight was the hosting.
Great theming and hosting as usual from hounds - not sure if I was having an off day but I found some of the puzzles a bit strange (there was a couple that could be easily interpreted in the wrong way). Story was a little loose but good enough. A really good room, just let down a little bit by a few of the puzzles for me.
Loads of fun! Our host was brilliant, shame we didn’t catch his real name! Fun puzzles and a brilliant end set piece!
Our third and final room here, and its a shame there aren't more. The hosting here is like nothing else, very theatrical, the games hosts are very in character and do not break at all. The hosts were amazing (Rusty and Brandy). The game itself was really well themed, well maintained, everything worked. There was one puzzle that made no sense to us, and even when we had been spoonfed clues, it still didn;'t make sense. When we finally got it, it was a bit disappointing to realise what the solution was, as it just seemed like a really badly thought out puzzle and I cant image many people get it without help (although maybe they do?!)
The rest of the game was great though, great start, great ending.
They also somehow remembered us from last time, and one particular incident involving a bottle of mayonaise that I had with me last time, and im not sure how because the two hosts we had today were not involved with that, but somehow they recognised us anyway and dropped a little private joke in, which is very impressive.

The US Deep South is not a common setting for an escape room, but if the clever pun of Hounds Escape’s second game hadn’t made the theme clear, the appearance of our host certainly would have; gleefully over the top, he took the stereotype of a southern US hillbilly and doubled down on it, lacking nothing but the ominous sound of Dueling Banjos in the background.
Your task is to break into the hideout of a rival gang and steal their moonshine, and in practice the game combines elements of break...
This is a game that is going to please everyone who plays it, not only are the puzzles excellent, but the room is just so. much. fun.
The craziest and funniest hour of hill billy fun we could have imagines. One of our all time favourite rooms thanks to brilliant design, an awesome team and humour. Well worth a visit.
