Yet another fabulous room from Locked In Glasgow reinforcing that they are the company to be measured up to in the West of Scotland. As always, the attention to detail is off the charts, with the theming and set dressing being, as ever, fabulous, but in this case the standout was the genius sound design! A worthy successor to Witch House and very much in a similar vein (no pun intended) to the more difficult Bloodline. I would advise playing this first of the two rooms, especially if you are a beginner. Some brilliant βwowβ moments and other wee surprises, and only one puzzle that we found a little tedious (youβll see which one I mean - although some folk might love it!) which ramped up our time a wee bit. Still, you donβt really want to rush through this room too much as itβs so pretty and there is so much to enjoy and admire. Excellent, friendly hosting too by Graeme who had just the light touch that we preferred; lovely guy and a credit to the team. Looking forward to seeing what comes next from this brilliant venue. I just hope they can find some more space for another one! π€

Nice escape room with a stranger things theme. Some red herrings which I personally donβt like but the puzzles were ok. Good for new starters or teenagers as feel that would enjoy the theme.

Really enjoyed this! As expected from Houdini's, the set dressing and design are really good. Only downpoint was losing our GM with 4 minutes to go, luckily we only needed one more hint and we were out. Definitely will be back to try room 13!

A visit to Escape Quest is a scrumptious sweet treat in itself but Titterton's Toffee is a sumptuous, delicious delight and we just wanted more! We knew it would be a quality offering and we expected handmade puzzles with padlocks-a-plenty but the reality of having an hour in escape room heaven absolutely lived up to all of our expectations.
Elaine and Mike design puzzles that just make sense. Sometimes straightforward, sometimes multi-layered but always thought through with care and a nod to the history of Chapelgate. The decor is in-keeping with the era and this new Chapelgate challenge allows time travellers into new places and to see the changes that have taken place over time. As always, the flow of the gameplay is superb and success is measured on the basis of 'how many' rather than 'escape or not', which makes it fun and accessible for all levels of escapers. It is yet another winner for Escape Quest and if there were royal warrants available for escape rooms (as well as toffee-makers) then this would surely get the royal seal of approval.

From memory, this was a well themed room but felt like it could have been so much more. The clip in the beginning of Jodie Whittaker's Doctor was brilliant, but other than that we thought it was a pretty standard room.
