Playful narrative with a variety of puzzle types, personalized elements, and an easy meta.  Great intro narrative box for newbies.

Adorably personalized elements and cute presentation. Well-intentioned but significantly flawed puzzle design, with one of the most anticlimactic non-metas I've seen. The puzzle mechanics felt arbitrarily chosen and assigned to story elements, and few presented any real aha. Most disappointingly, the exciting S.O.U.P. theme didn't meaningfully play into any of the puzzles, but was just light narrative icing. Lots of potential here - just could have used more intentional architecture and playtesting.

If you are tired of your boring life and want to travel the world for a change, join S.O.U.P. You'll be taken on a journey of your life time to exotic places, research lost legends, investigate the unknown, and they even promise you a job after. As if that wasn't enough, you're also being assigned as a "detective" to dig out the dirt behind S.O.U.P.'s headquarters. Are you up for the challenge?

S.O.U.P. was a light-hearted and approachable puzzle game with a fantastic sense of humor. While largely paper-based, this game was deeply personalized and made with an abundance of care.
This game was truly a delight and clearly a labor of love from the people that made it. The gameplay and puzzles lend themselves to a smaller team, so I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a solo or two player game.
