great hosting
A very friendly team here, who made us feel very welcomed. We weren't expecting such themed hosting, or the carrier pigeon for clues. A good range of puzzles, although we did have a few places where it hadn't been quite obvious enough to us either that we'd successfully unlocked something, or what we had unlocked. We did have one 'oh you sneaky so-and-sos' moment for something that in hindsight we should have spotted without needing help, but weirdly that just makes it kind of satisfying! There was one more physical skill type task that we did end up doing not through the intended mechanism due to the annoying nature of the noise it made, and (me) just wanting it to stop. But overall a very fun room, with some puzzle mechanics we'd not seen before.
I can definitely see us having a Brighton day trip to do a couple more of their games.

π¨creepy
It's ok. I think after the lead up i was expecting something much more scary. It certainly had creepy vibes but no more than that, it still very much felt like an escape room rather than anything immersive. We were told about other peoples experiences in the game and how they'd experienced actual paranormal activity. Whether this was a scare tactic or actual truth I have no idea, but when i went on to ask about the history of the building, it's age etc the response was 'i have no idea i was born in 1989. Which bothered me. There was one puzzle where you had to collect things to get a word but we never even used them, we were given an audio clue saying we had already mentioned the word (a word that was just very in theme and something else early in the game hinted towards it). I wish instead he would have said 'go look at the things you have found and they will tell you what you need'. We were well ahead of time so I'm not sure why they went about it that way.

intensequite difficult
Tip for enthusiasts - don't do this room at the end of a day full of rooms - you definitely need brain power and energy and we were well down on both. At some points the tech didn't work which was a shame as it probably lost us a few minutes and in this game minutes = pounds. Bit of a shame we didn't get as far as I know we are capable off. I don't think it would hurt having a team of 4 for this one.

This was a difficult room for two playersβ¦but possible. The puzzles arenβt totally linear so that led to a small amount of confusion, but does aid multiplayer ability. Some of the links to the puzzles-solution we only realised after the exit and our debrief, but they were fair.Hosted by Michael (our main hint guide where we didnβt use ANY hintsβ¦.honest ;)), Daniel and Adele
