Great creepy room
A Very Mild Case of Cabin Fever
We got a deal from Planet Offers, meaning the total price was around Β£30.
Story
Lost in the woods with no phone battery, venture into the cabin to get its radio working and call for help.
Puzzles
They were fineβ¦but in short supply!
Mise-en-scene
Starting off outside the cabin, itβs a little dark and mysterious. Once inside, thereβs a slight menacing vibe, with one or two opportunities for a spook. However, some of the props are so low-grade that they take you out of the story.
Final Comments
This room was over before we knew it: there was over 20 minutes left on the clock. Iβm glad we didnβt pay full price based on its limited length. There were 6 of us, and everyone in the party had played at least 5 or 6 games. You only need 2-4 people to make it a more worthwhile challenge.
One of the better rooms I have played within the Escape Franchise but fairly simply for experienced players. The themed is well done with a few original puzzles to boot. But nothing out of this world. Still a great game for beginners
We really enjoyed the cabin. Itβs not linear at the start, which was great for teams who like to divide and conquer. Theming was good, relatively padlock heavy with a clever/subtle puzzle we missed in the cabin itself. Recommended.
An OK game. Not one for experienced escapers
Well themed and decorated room with a very good game flow, its a room that experienced players will find alittle easy, but the puzzles and narrative are enough to keep you immersed and interested.

The premise of The Cabin is that while you were camping in some remote location, someone has raided your tent, stolen some of your possessions, and left you a threatening note challenging you to come to his cabin and get them back. And of course you accept the challenge, rather than doing the obvious and sensible thing of getting out of there and calling the police.
A little theft is pretty tame by the standard of cabin-dwelling maniacs, and although The Cabin is theoretically a scary theme itβ...
I had been wary of The Cabin assuming serial killer horror. Instead, the theme, rescuing your dog from a dodgy residence in the woods, appealed immediately to our team of animal lovers and we were invested from the start.
