Very nice room, a lot to do for a two, non-linear space themed.  Was our favourite room at Parliament Street and well hosted. Would recommend this room and is worth the visit alone.

After the Pirate room we decided to come back and try the other rooms and were not disappointed. This room was creepy, and had a lot to keep us busy. Very immersive and we found it a little difficult for a two with the amount and difficulty of the puzzles.  At one point we thought we were not going to get out but scraped through in the end.

Much better quality from Breakout Liverpool more in line with Spellbound hopefully this continues for any other new rooms.  This room was very nicely put together well themed with puzzles that were logical and flowed nicely in the room to keep you progressing.  

After doing Chapel in quick time and being told this was an easier room, we were quite surprised this actually took us a little longer. If your not a fan of dolls we would not recommend this room as they are everywhere. Story flowed well and puzzles fit the room nicely.

Room was well themed, puzzles though were easy. Not a lot to keep us going as you can see by our escape time. Expected a bit more from the room.

We've played a couple of magic rooms in other places including Chester's Breakout Magic room, but we were pleasantly surprised at how good this room was. Flowed nicely, puzzles were nice if not difficult but was on a whole fun to play, if only Breakout Liverpool would make more rooms of this quality.

Nice, room not so much linear as there are different lines you can take.  One puzzle though would need a dedicated team member to work on that throughout as others worked on different puzzles. Found the puzzles challenging and definitely needed some guidance but the host was great with the hints that were given.  Nice touch in the venue were the pictures of celebs that have played his games in the hallway.

Nice room, different to your usual themes. Homemade elements to the room and can see where others had reviewed this as a dated room.  When we first walked in we were a little apprehensive by the appearance but the story and puzzles flowed nicely and turned out to be a good little room that we enjoyed playing.

This was our first train underground train room. Theme was really well done and hosted really well. Puzzles were ones that we had seen before but the room flowed really well.  One of our favourite rooms in Breakout.

Clever themed room with nice little touch's here and there, Decor was a little dated and could have done with some TLC.  Some puzzles were illogical and there were some bits of broken tech. Ending let it down massively.

Another cabin themed room with nice decor and well done. Puzzles were standard and the flow of the room went nicely. Host was great again.

Very nice small room, not your usual Breakout multiroom template. Nice theme puzzles fit well with the room plenty to keep you going despite the size and much better than some other Breakout rooms.

First museum heist room that we have come across, very nicely presented. Puzzles were good room flowed nicely and hosted well too. Not had a bad experience yet with Escapism.

Second game played on the day, a lot better than the first room.  Again quite a nice room and decor, puzzles were ok and room flowed as it should.  

Nice little game, little different to what we have played before where we had to collect certain items to destroy.  Puzzles were quite simple but flowed nicely. Nice room even if not a Peaky Blinders fan.

More of a roleplaying scavenger hunt.  Number of activities to do over the time you are in the prison, this is what takes up the time to escape.  Only 3 teams escaped on the day that we were there and we were one of them.  

Again set in a cell, start off in the dark and for one was not a great start due to tight handcuff (fat wrists).  Gradually got into the game puzzles were ok very linear but a lot better and better hosted than the Cell. 

Was expecting so much more from this given it was an actual cell you were escaping from, the host was poor and the clues given were illogical and we were given the wrong clue despite numerous times advising the guard we had already completed that stage he was cluing for. On this experience alone we would say not worth the visit unless doing other things.

Compared with other space themed rooms we have played this is by by the worst.  Very poor room considering we played quite early on and definitely not up to the same standard as other Breakout site's rooms.  This Breakout needs a rethink and rooms need a rotation.

Very well decorated room, really set the tone. Puzzles were tricky enough to have you having to think a bit more than we have been used to.  Very immersive with twist at the end. great host again and looking forward to any new rooms Lockdown produce. Highly recommended.

Although we escaped relatively quickly we enjoyed this room more than some other cabin rooms we have played previously.  Rooms in Ormskirk are very well themed and hosts are really good.  For an independent company these are one of the best we have played.

Standard prison escape room, nothing spectacular, puzzles flowed nicely, very linear and quite easy if you are an experienced team.  Would be better for beginners.

A world war themed escape room set in an old sea fort. Very well thought out room with a live actor who plays the role very well.  Puzzles are standard, however there is a skill based element to one of the puzzles that got a little frustrating.  

Host on this occasion offered to stay later so we could get an extra game in which immediately is a big tick. Room it self is well themed, better than some cabins that we have played. Some puzzles were unique for us at the time and there were a few "red herrings" along the way. 

A fun little set even if not an original theme.  Puzzles were ok and fit in well with the room and the host was great.  Family friendly but maybe not a first time players for the young ones. Would recommend visiting.

What a truly remarkable room this was.  Very well decorated, felt like you were actually on a spaceship. Without giving too much away there is a lot where someone needs to be crawling.  Puzzles are difficult and only barely got out the room. Host was good but could have been a little better as not understanding what we were asking sometimes.  Other than that this room is truly one to experience.

Quite a dark room but goes with the theme so quite immersive.  Host this time was not as good as the first time round but still enjoyed the experience.  Puzzles were right for the room nothing really stood out as unique though. Would recommend Enigma rooms based on the couple of rooms already played and looking forward to trying Enigma's in other locations.

On the website it advised teams of 3-4 so did not book this originally.  Asked while playing our 2 rooms on the day and after seeing us play said we could do it quite well as a team of 2.  As they were quiet they offered a free game to try this out. Just a generic prison break room which we actually found quite easy for a team for two and easily escaped in time.  Little disappointed as expected a little bit more.

Second room of the day in Glasgow, another room that was well themed although again quite easy to do. Host again was great.

A fun little room although as we have a bit more experience with escape rooms now, this came fairly easy to us.  Would be nice for a family room and is well themed. Hosts were great.

Nice room, good hosting, wild west theme a little un original but game itself was ok even if a little on the easier side.

Wonderful little room and our first time with Lockdown Escapes.  Very well themed room despite the puzzles being a little on the easier side.  Would work very well with youngsters playing the room and a nice introductory room for them.  Host was great and nice to talk with people that genuinely enjoy the industry and are happy to recommend other companies games to play.

After doing a few rooms in Escapism it was time to try Legacy.  Another great room and great host. Nice atmosphere within the game and game flowed.  Again just nice enough for us as a leisurely team of 2 and never felt too stressed whilst playing.

We did not have a great time in this room ourselves, host was not great and poor guidance. Puzzles didn't flow and were very aged so difficult to read properly. Barely escaped which in itself was a miracle as for a long time it just felt like we were left to our own devices with nothing happening. Second time we were let down by hosting with Escape Hunt questioning how long it will be before we come back to the rooms we had not yet done.

Family trips to Hetherton usually there is nothing too much for us adults to do so was excited to learn of an Escape Room opening.  Decided to book the pirate room and we were not disappointed.  Nice little room with some nice puzzles, enough to keep a team like ours that just do rooms for recreation rather than speed challenges.  Fun and host was great couldn't wait to do the other rooms when we could.

We played this the first month it opened and thought it was really well decorated.  Puzzles flowed nicely as is the norm with Escapism the hosting is great. Would highly recommend coming to Escapism for any of their rooms.

Great room, original design by Escapism such a shame it has now closed.  Puzzles were good and host was good as is the norm with Escapism.

Second room we did on the day after our first room failure (Broken Wrist as per other review).  Host this time helped by skipping the crawl space element which didn't impact the room itself.  Room was ok nothing remarkable just general money heist.  Host was better this game than previous game.

We contacted the company prior to playing the game as one of us had not long had an operation on their wrist and was in a cast. We asked if we could still play or re-arrange as these rooms were booked prior to the operation.  Were told could play on.  Room itself was flawed with blacklight torches not working correctly and highlighting elements that were needed.  A clue hidden was difficult to untighten and one of final puzzles was a laser maze that you had to get through which was not mentioned when we were discussing the broken wrist.  Fully fit time may have got out especially with equipment that would work correctly.

Great little room, many things to keep us occupied although a little on the easier side for Breakout rooms.  Another that is good for the family.

After our first experience with Escape Hunt we tried this room next, where fairly good with interaction and role-playing in certain areas, there were some puzzles that were hard to read. The host wasn't the greatest at the time and clues were illogical and didn't really help and guide us.  Could have been better

Was expecting more from this room as it had been revamped with new tech puzzles.  Unfortunately some of the tech didn't work as well as it should which left us a little underwhelmed.  Theming was nice but have since played better similar themed rooms.  Host was good and ultimately has not deterred us from franchise companies.

Our first experience with this company,  Well hosted, quite a clever room but ultimately for a team of 2 to escape with 16 minutes left a little on the easier side. If looking for a nice paced starting room would easily have recommended this prior to it closing.

At the time we played this we had Covid restrictions but still with these this was by far one of our favourite rooms played ever at the time and still to this day.  The theme, decoration and just general play were all superb and the host was great.  Puzzles keep you going and there is much to do. Playing this room instantly wanted us to experience more with this company. Can not recommend enough.

Very well done room with plenty of puzzles to solve.  If you solve the room quick enough there is a bonus puzzle to keep those professional escape teams going. Gutted we didn't quite get to the bonus room but successful escape otherwise. Host was great, were the owners of the business and can tell they really cared about their rooms.

Played in summer and was extremely hot, fans were available but didn't really help.

Good room otherwise with a few nice puzzles, family friendly and do believe there are better magic rooms around.  

By far the worst escape room we have played. Can see why this eventually closed down.  All in all about 5 puzzles in room.  No one to greet when exiting just walked to the bar and was greeted with oh you escaped? Very very poor.

We played this room in the middle of 3 that we were playing on the day.

As a team of two prior to booking we did check the reviews and did note the price of the room, however we went in the room knowing it was an easier room and aimed at getting more and more families involved.  For that the puzzles were a little easier and our chronic downfall of respecting rooms was a little stumbler for us. 

All in all a great little room if you want to get your kids involved and the host Simon was great. We would advise reading the actual website first to know what you are getting yourself into.

Overall a well themed room with a good story line, quite creepy. Enjoyed playing this game, clues were sent via an ipad type of device but you are warned it times out of you asked for too many. So this could be an issue if you are stuck on a certain puzzle. Fun game to play, not too stressful, Wouldn't recommend this theme to the younger ones as it could freak them out a bit.
