Last game on our brief trip to Belfast and not sure whether our expectations were too high (huge GOT fans) or maybe we were comparing it to the highs of the other games we'd played in the city but this experience fell pretty flat. Lovely host but as regards the game there was simply no intensity or excitement to match the theme. Decor was pretty basic and the entire experience takes place in just one room. There were a couple of interesting puzzles but not enough to save the overall experience.   I guess this is personal taste but "one room" escape games come across as quite cheap and should probably be extinct (especially in 2024) as they lose out in one of the most exciting parts of experience - the transitions.  This game would have been great 5 years ago but escape rooms have moved on.

Plenty of immersive fun in this red neck rodeo. Good use of space, some strong puzzles and immersive decor. In character intro - would be great to see the hill billy character appear during the experience to possibly facilitate a puzzle interaction etc.

Fun game without anything particularly wow - no real story development during the experience but a couple of nice puzzles. Rooms on the smaller side compared to other venues in the area. Lovely host - they do have in character intros but the room would benefit from utilising these characters for actor interaction during the game to elevate the experience.

Not a huge fan of Zombie themes but we really enjoyed this 75min experience. Intense throughout with a good use of live actors for both scares and puzzle interactions. Challenging for 2 but definitely doable.

😨creepy
Having played their online exorcism game during lock down and really enjoyed it we were excited to try their newer game in person. The atmosphere in the first section was good with a nice set, definitely creepy although not overly scary. Would have benefited from an in character opening by the game master or the use of a live actor to add some depth to the tension. Interesting premise but the story never really developed beyond that and the scare factor never elevated to the level of a true horror game. Still definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

quite difficult
Cool set with large spaces and very open planned non linear puzzles. Challenging as a two player but definitely enjoyable. Not a typical escape room experience, more crystal mazey and there wasn't really any story development beyond searching for loot. Would have benefited from a little more intensity (change in lighting and sound) bit overall a fun experience and definitely one of the better games in Manchester.

quite easy
A fun if pretty basic escape experience. The name gave the indication it might be somewhat suspenseful or creepy but neither was the case. Plenty of red herrings in the first section but once you weed through them the game flowed pretty smoothly without ever reaching any real highs.

Must play! Randomly came across this experience on a recent weekend trip to Belfast and it blew us away. HUGE SET, with multiple live actors and an incredibly immersive story. The game is based very loosely on Stephen King's IT but you make your way through the town of Derry interacting with different characters along the way. This is an intense experience with plenty of scares but we also liked the non player characters who we had to interact with (bribing a guard etc). It was very challenging for a 2 player team even in 90 minutes (they gave us a few mins extra to complete it) but absolutely worth it.

Cool set (uses height well) with unique theme. Fun split start, but goes a little downhill after that. Had some tech issues with a couple of props (bang bang), and game master had to come in to fix an item during the experience. Similar to their other games there was no real story development beyond the original video blurb and the ending lacked any real excitement.

This was intense! Story flowed well throughout, with some nice puzzles and has a live actor performance with a number of appearances that scared the **** out of us. Really liked the individual bravery tests. We found it a little easier than the zombie one so is definitely doable as a two player if you keep the fear in check.

Avoid! Getting to play this for free would still be too expensive as you'll never get those 60mins back. Non logical puzzles, tiny set, no atmosphere or scares (in a zombie themed game), cheap props, poor hosting...enough said.

This is obviously an older style escape game compared to Temple Quest but still was fun to complete with lots of logical puzzles. Very friendly host.

Great set, with strong variety of puzzles, a really  fun transition and a number of surprises along the way. Has a crystal maze style feel in a good way! Fantastic customer service from our game master as standard with Clue Cracker.

plain😨creepy
Quite disappointed in this experience as we were expecting something much more intense and scary. The game itself is best described as creepy but never ventures beyond that. As regards the set - it's extremely small! The decor, furniture and props are fairly poor quality and something that really grates is multiple locks (4-5) on one piece of furniture! For enthusiasts visiting Manchester you're much better off taking a trip to the venues outside the city to play more impressive experiences.

Our favourite experience at Tulleys with a creepy atmosphere and large set. The puzzles are quite difficult with a lot of content but we played as a two player so that was to be expected. The biggest negative for us was the story, which never really went anywhere and didn't develop beyond random tasks unlinked to any overall narrative.
