The best scary room I’ve played. Fear from start to end but with great hosting that helps feel as relaxed as possible can. The anticipation of certain elements of this room are unreal. The opportunity to stay or leave is great because it asks your brain to disobey itself.
Only 2 rooms I’ve played have given me that feeling of a room having everything. This is one of them. Immersive from the second you walk in to the moment you leave with an interesting twist at the end.
Had so much fun. Anyone who plays this should enjoy it! Only critique would be there are a few hidden things which are hard to find or realise what you should do. It’s still so immersive it doesn’t matter
Best looking wizard room I’ve played but so many broken parts to the room. It really needs a mini makeover to repair certain parts. A couple of puzzles had no signposting but managed to escape so wasn’t too bad
Hosting was amazing but I don’t know how it can be called escape the night when you can’t play if you get stuck after the phone lines close. Could be planned a little better so it wasn’t needed. Sometimes the phone wouldn’t be answered too.
Quite a hard room. Enjoyed elements of this room and the host was amazing. My only criticism, maybe between the H&S and gameplay parts before the room. Maybe walk away and come back because I had to stop myself laughing when the hosts voice suddenly changed
This was a better room but was quite easy. The flow was a lot better and felt a little more immersed but could still tell it was just a decorated office. I expect it’s difficult to build a room but that immersion is important
This was my second room and as a 2 the separating element really bothered me. I had no idea what to do or look for and it ruined it for me. I hope if I return to Chester, and it’s still open, I could enjoy it more
We played as a 3 despite the minimum being 4. Managed to get out by going over by 3 minutes. Count as half an escape! Really enjoyed the non linear element but as with most rooms here they just seem thrown together.
