A good solid 3.5star game here and massive improvement on the original "Identify" that this game has replaced. Great a little game for new escape roomers or families, but may be a little easy for experienced players.  Nice solid game play. 

I recently had the opportunity to experience Crimson Lake Motel, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! I have tried several escape rooms before of a similar theme, but this one was a whole different level of fun and excitement. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was simply amazing.

One of the things that stood out was the quality of the room. The attention to detail was phenomenal, and it felt like I was actually transported to a real-life motel. The room was also quite challenging, but the best part was that we managed to escape with no clues! The puzzles were pretty straight forward with a semi-linear feel.

In conclusion, I highly recommend Crimson Lake Motel for anyone who is looking for a unique and thrilling escape room experience.

We were invited to play a test game. 

Firstly, if you've played the Tomb, you'll noticed the entire room has been turned on its head and the use of space was very different. We absolutely enjoyed this game - Completely new puzzles and some very clever bits that we really appreciate - and its refreshing to see puzzles we've never seen before, so that's a bonus.

Played this is a team of two I really enjoyed the story and the puzzles there were some very creative things here, however it did feel like there was potentially a lot to do for two people and some puzzles left us banging our heads.

Would definitely recommend this room for new and experienced players

 Genuinely really enjoyed this game, we played as a team of two, and it felt like there was an incredible amount to do for two people and the space was very large.

Really loved the twist on the unique theme and would definitely highly recommend this room.

after After playing operation moonshine, we were really looking forward to this game. I'll be honest I wasn't really thrown by the theme but we really love the company.

We enjoyed most of the game except unfortunately there was one puzzle which just completely seemed diabolical, and it felt we lost lots of time because our hosting wasn't great on this puzzle.

As our first collection type game, we really enjoyed the different take on an escape room. 

However, we played as a team of two, and there was a certain aspect in the game which would make completing the game on unattainable. However this aspect was swapped out during our gameplay which made it a little easier.

After playing a few other collectible games in the UK, I would still recommend you UI 55 but you can now tell this was one of the first as other companies have built on different aspects.

this This was an OK little game, but a very generic theme. The room felt a little plain and the puzzles felt a little reachy at times but apart from that we felt it was okay. 

Really really enjoyed legacy, as a theme this was completely something different we hadn't really seen before, and as one of escapisms newer rooms you could definitely tell that they'd heightened the bar. 

We played as a team with two and find it quite easy as we are experienced, but we could also see how the room will be quite hard if you've never played before.

Played ampitheater with a team of four, with two people being experienced in two people never playing before, which became quite frustrating as we were split up like that. 

Overall we really enjoyed the game but did find a few puzzles frustrating, you can clearly see that this is one of escapisms older games as their newer games have a much higher standard of quality.

Espionage was a great room for a team of two, very classic linear game with some surprises.

.A very basic game had some great little puzzles but was very generic.

as As with all of clue HQ's rooms, end of the line was greatly theme and had some really original puzzles. Although there was one puzzle that was slightly broken and slowed us down a little bit we quickly got over this, and still thoroughly enjoy the rest of the game.

If you're looking for something different to do would highly recommend as this is a completely unique theme

 After playing a few of the of their other rooms,  we thought we'd give prison break a try. 

Honestly it was probably one of the worst games we've ever played, and we escaped within 20 minutes with three of us. At the time of playing this game we hadn't really played many other escape rooms so we weren't really experts or experienced, or it just felt like there wasn't enough to do in the room for barely a team of three.

We played as a group of two and had a really great time. I did feel some puzzles was slightly disproportionate to the amount of time we had in the room, but nevertheless he still really enjoyed the game. 

I did quite enjoy the theme as it is completely unique and if you've seen the film big that you'll enjoy all the references that are inside.

Another great room from escapism.

A great use of space some really interesting puzzles. If you've played espionage the use of the space will amaze you.

Although I thought it would be on a harder side this game is actually easy. So would recommend it to New escapees. 

A very overdone theme but we enjoyed lucardo's version of it, played as a team of two and escaped fairly quickly. There weren't any ground breaking puzzles in this room but we still thoroughly enjoyed it.

A great room if you're easily scared!  - Some of the puzzles were very generic but puzzles aren't the point of this game... Play and enjoy!

After playing other ClueHQ games, we took advantage of the groupon offer.  This room is just carnage. I don't think the props have ever been swapped out or cared for. Paper was "hairy" it had been used so many times. Some random out of place puzzles.

Our host was also awful. He clearly didn't want to be there. Or on the planet. 

This was one of our first rooms with clue HQ, we really enjoyed the different puzzles and the theatrics of this room really gave us a great introduction to the company.

Another great room, really enjoyed the clever puzzles and use of space.

A very standard typical breakout room, and a very generic detective themed room.

Most of the puzzles we'd already seen in other various breakout rooms but nonetheless we still enjoyed the journey.

Another take on the generic Zombie game. The game play was fine.. But due to some broken tech we had keys work in multiple places causing us to advance without completing an entire room. 

Unfortunately  when we played this game multiple elements of this game were broken, which meant the host (who was uninteresting in existing) had to enter multiple times. 

Another great room from Breakout Manchester. Some really great puzzles here. 

We were really looking forward to this theme.. and was sorely disappointed. 

They give you a lantern.. and recommend you use your phones as the room is completely pitch black, until you start progressing.  

Typical EL asking you to use the same 3 numbers in several ways. Very lazy design.  A standard you'll come to notice as you play more rooms with them. 

Towards the end of your game, you'll be forced to put your hand in a bucket.. which is full of ancient gel balls which have ruptured leaving your hands decimated in a sticky mess, with no way to clean it. 

Really enjoyed Escape Lives take on a classic prison game. Although a word of warning, we'd seem some of this "typical prison" puzzles in other prison games and quickly advanced through this game because of this. 

One of the downsides of Escape Live is that you're expected use the same puzzle again and again in different ways. Gets boring quickly. 

We played a race room Remy's as a team and absolutely love Remy's. Its a very classic room with some great puzzles and enough for everyone to do which felt important. 

Another great room from Cluefinders. 

Another great room from Cluefinders, and easily my favourite in Liverpool. Some really clever use of space and some puzzles I'd never seen before.

If you're visiting Liverpool, definitely add The Tomb to your list. 

I really liked this room, unfortunately as its time in life its looking very tatty and loved, which didn't affect our game play, it just damped the "wow" moment when walking. 

This aside this is a really well designed room.
