This game is very sad. Everything about it is very sad..
this This was an OK little game, but a very generic theme. The room felt a little plain and the puzzles felt a little reachy at times but apart from that we felt it was okay.
Another Economical Escape
As a student and confirmed escape room addict, I had to go back to Exit The Room with another of their voucher that lets you play for a few quid each.
Story
Find out what's occurring in Room Number 9 of Spooky Town's (eye roll) only hotel, as a lot of guests have been disappearing.
Puzzles
I was more impressed, this time around. There were some novel puzzles with mechanisms I hadn't yet seen in any other escape room!
Mise-en-scène
Again, it's just a room with a bed, safe and desk thrown in, so I was solving puzzles in a space full of props rather than a harrowing hotel suite. It was unforgivably dusty, too! Certain tools in the final room were very real and sharp...take care.
Final Comments
We considered this one to be easier than Madness, though the difficulty rating on the website suggests otherwise. Three or four people is the right team-size.
This one was a while ago, and I cant remember our escape time! Apologies.
This room was fun. My only issue was that it was a bit of a repeat of what we have seen before. But apart from that, it was your typical murder mystery escape room. The puzzles weren't to difficult but enough to push you.
