Clue Cracker: Mega Bite

I ADORED this game! Such amazing set design when you get into the video game with everything looking 2D, and such fun puzzles to complete. Quinn was a brilliant, funny GM who aided the flow of the game when we needed help, and made us laugh too - and the ending is my favourite yet of any escape room!

Definately a bit different, but in a good way. Theming was great and a rather (but good) tricky room. Great fun nonetheless. 

There are a few moments where I have entered a room in an escape game and had to stop for a minute to take it in. This is definitely one of those moments. What a stunning room. We played all of them today, and even though all were fantastic, this original concept and AMAZING room design, deserves a mention, we all had smiles on our faces throughout, cannot recommend enough!

A joy from start to finish - loved the use of lighting and sound to guide us on our path into the zombie infested arcade and how playful every piece of set and puzzle felt afterwards. Great mix of difficulty and unique puzzles too. The ending was also great fun! For me this and temple quest are real stand outs at the venue - highly recommend!

Really creative theme and room, some of the best, most reliable and most well hidden and surprising motion and technology ive seen. 

The storyline and the theme is really interesting and unexpected, and there are several moments in the game where something totally unexpected happens, the plot twists and the room really shows off its hidden technology. 

Loved it. 

Great game enjoyed by 2 adults and 2 daughters aged 12 and 9 years old.  The effects and tech was outstanding but the host did seem eager to give hints, several times before we asked.

Sadly I felt a little let down by this room and I can't put my finger on why.  It could have been that the final stage tech wasn't as smooth as the rest or maybe just that our expectations were too high after enjoying their other rooms.

Overall, still an exceptional room and one of the best we have done but I still rate Temple Quest and Diamond Dogs higher!

Myself and my husband loved the other games with this company. However we left quite disappointed with this one. The puzzles seemed like an after thought and didn't flow or make sense or fit with the game. The voice over in one room was difficult to hear. The description of how to use something for the last part confused us both and the tech for that didn't seem to work well enough for us to be able too see what we were doing. 

UNMISSABLE! What a funky room! Such beautiful theming and quirky puzzles. Our GM Josh (I believe is his name) was once again very accommodating and fun. We had such a laugh doing this room and found the puzzles to be right up our street. 

Great fun! Not like any other room I've played. Haven't done a room for a while so I was quite rusty, and was kicking myself that I didn't get some of the puzzles more quickly. There were a few times when we didn't know what to do next, so had to have some hints. Just about made it out in time! Am looking forward to trying more rooms at Clue Cracker!

I have done all 3 of the other rooms at Clue Crackers and we LOVE them all!  2 of them are in my top 5 rooms from the 75 that we have done so I expected big things from this new room.  We waited a month from opening for everything to bed in and sadly I felt a little underwhelmed.  Don't get me wrong the build quality and set is amazing and very different but the room just did'nt seem to work properly. 

The whole start section seemed to be awkward and we did'nt understand if it was broken or designed like that and then a few minutes in we definitely had broken tech that the gamesmaster had to over ride to get us out of level 1.  The very final game I again did'nt think worked very well, the aiming was horrendous and it just seemed to drag without really understanding what was happening as what I think we had to do did'nt really seem to do much with the targets.

If they iron out the tweeks I am sure it will be good but at the moment it sadly does'nt quite live up to the high standards of the other games.  Its a solid game but not a top drawer one.

A really unique and inventive outing from Clue Cracker, this had a brilliant set and was incredibly immersive. Puzzles were (for the most part) fun and inventive, I think a couple needed a bit more signposting and I expect this is something they'll adjust as the game is open for longer. Principally, they absolutely nail the theme and the build quality is outstanding. Well worth playing!
