Meh.
Incredible build quality. My biggest criticism though is the lack of response from the screens for the puzzles - you feel like something should happen but it takes a painfully long time for them to acknowledge that you've done something. A lot to do and some fairly long crawling.
Great ending though, one of my favourite ways to end a game yet!
The set looks AMAZING. The puzzles/flow etc just didn't work for us, sadly.
My friend played this a long time before I did and kept raving that it's one of their favorite games. Upon discussing it afterwards it was clear several things were broken, she had a very clever technical first puzzle, where we had cheap greetings cards blu-tacked to the wall of the SPACE ship.
Newish to escaping but this was such a good game! Top 3 for sure!
Alot of attention to detail and original design
Time and effort has clearly gone into this room and the theming is great.
A unique and inventive game with brilliant theming and set. Enjoyed the adventurous aspect too and the puzzles made sense with the story. However, we thought puzzles could do with better signposting and there was a lot of reading involved. One puzzle was particularly infuriating and fiddly to solve. The GM overclued a lot and would sometimes direct us away from a puzzle we were currently solving. Had a cool exit from the game but there was no one to meet us when we did so felt a bit meh. This could be an amazing game, just didn't hit the mark for us this time
Fantastic game thatโs different to most rooms. A lot of tech in the room mixed with a bit of dexterity and a good balance of more standard puzzles done in line with the theme. Best room of the venue for us easily. Also very different to other rooms we've done before in a few ways and really enjoyed this. Will be one we refer back to in future.
Had a trip out to Hull on Sunday after looking at the reviews on here about Impact at Enigma. It was an immersive experience, really felt like I was in Red Dwarf! Really clever layout and tricky puzzles, which all made sense when given a nudge. The host was really nice to chat to and you can see takes pride in his rooms. A must if you are that way, a must if you arent aswell. Not many games ive done are like this one.
Completely immersive and some brilliant hi-tech puzzles. Haven't played another game like this
This room was a spectacle to behold and the puzzles were perfect for the theme. Definitely a tech and/or space lovers dream.
There isn't a padlock in sight, so it wasn't perfectly suited to our taste but I'm sure others would enjoy this side to the room. Sometimes we felt that it wasn't always obvious when a puzzle had been solved.
Our host Dan was lovely!
What a game! Never seen theming quite like this... absolutely amazing
Really enjoyed this! Our fave so far out of the 23 we have played!
Let me start by saying, I am NOT a Sci-Fi fan, so was not expecting to enjoy this room. I am extremely happy to report, my expectations were wrong. I LOVED this room. I felt like I was on an actual Spaceship, and special shout out to the clue system, very funny and interest way of doing it.
The ending of this room is unique as well, and such fun.
The room required a lot of communication for its puzzles, and we were tripped up by ourselves not remembering what we hadn't done. There is one puzzle in here that frustrated the heck out of me personally, but only because im rubbish at that sort of thing, luckily my friend was great.
Yeah, from start to finish, I thought this game had a nice flow, and as i've said before, proves Enigma Hull doesnt have a bad game.
Wow! We loved this room for how immersive it is and how the puzzles weave together so intuitively. This is a truly immersive game with some really enjoyable physical elements. Fantastic.
Wow. What a set!
No effort has been spared to create this game. Fully immersive.
Some nice new puzzles and good use of tech.
This room is amazing! The room has been done out fantastic and is extremely realistic. The puzzles inside are great, lots of fun and there are no locks involved. Very original and I have not seen any other rooms with puzzles like this. This room is worth travelling for and the best I have ever done.
This game was amazing! I personally love a good padlock, but I certainly didnโt miss them in this game! High tech, great story, really felt like you were on a spaceship. Awesome game.
This room is literally 'out of this world'! As Enigma's first 'third gen' room, you are immediately immersed into a different world thanks to a vast range of special effects which are within keeping with the room's aesthetic and plot. This is a room largely dominated by physical puzzles with occasional numerical puzzles thrown in for good measure: both effectively enable you to feel that you are working on the ship. However, we were utterly blown away by the finale in this room and firmly believe that this is one of the best 'room exits' we have ever encountered. We completed the room as a pair (JUST) so I would recommend playing as a larger team of 3/4 if inexperienced, or as a 2 if you are a seasoned veteran. Without revealing too much, this room is not suitable for those with mobility issues but will certainly be enjoyed by players of all ages. Nick was a fantastic host: his infectious humour, passion for the room and kindness truly enhanced our experience. You are always guaranteed a good, solid room with Enigma. However, pushes their high bar even higher. I cannot recommend this highly enough!

One of many life lessons I've learned from escape rooms is, if you're awaking from stasis on a spacecraft, you can be pretty sure you're in mortal peril. Impact's flavour of peril is the exploding ship sort rather than the marauding alien type, but you'll need to do some rapid fixing up to make it out.
Our briefing included assignment of different crew roles to each player. It might have been nice if those roles had been directly used within the game a little more, but it was still a great way ...
