Whether you are a young child, teen or simply young at heart, the Great Toy Rescue is a fun, feel-good room which guarantees a joyous experience. Just like any child's playtime, the experience is very much non-linear (after the first section of the game) and there is an eclectic mix of number, word, physical and observational puzzles which enable you to replicate the excitement and giddiness of a child. Signposting is once again thorough and prescriptive and there is a lovely finale to this room which I wanted to repeat time and time again. Throughout the game, there are some lovely 'wow' moments which are creative yet logical. This room is accessible to all and as per all Beverley Breakout rooms, you can set your level of difficulty before playing. Fran was an exceptional host who truly understands the needs of players: clues were perfect and were delivered at ideal moments in the game. Similarly, Fran spent a significant amount of time with us to talk us through the room's construction and future plans. Overall, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this room.

It isn't very often that you see a sports-themed room, therefore we were intrigued and had to visit. The room itself is based on local boxing legend Luke Campbell: through immersive room aesthetics, engaging, no-nonsense puzzles (largely numerical and physical) and informative Easter eggs which appear as you progress, you are immediately given an insight into the boxing world - you cannot help but take interest. Signposting in this room (and all other Beverley Breakout rooms) is exceptional and ensured that there was no 'dead time' as we played. There are some lovely interactive moments throughout this game which made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. As the room is largely linear, I would recommend that smaller teams of enthusiasts play this game. All parts of the game are accessible and child-friendly and what's more, you can even pre-set your desired level of difficulty before you play. Fran hosted our game and she was exceptional: it is evident that she has put her heart and soul into her games and it was lovely to see her passionately talk about them (and rightly so). We thoroughly appreciated that she took the time to explain how she changed the level of difficulty in each room. Whether you are a fan of boxing or not, the Main Event is a room you have to experience should you wish to experience a fun, no-nonsense and solid escape room.

This room is literally 'out of this world'! As Enigma's first 'third gen' room, you are immediately immersed into a different world thanks to a vast range of special effects which are within keeping with the room's aesthetic and plot. This is a room largely dominated by physical puzzles with occasional numerical puzzles thrown in for good measure: both effectively enable you to feel that you are working on the ship. However, we were utterly blown away by the finale in this room and firmly believe that this is one of the best 'room exits' we have ever encountered. We completed the room as a pair (JUST) so I would recommend playing as a larger team of 3/4 if inexperienced, or as a 2 if you are a seasoned veteran.  Without revealing too much, this room is not suitable for those with mobility issues but will certainly be enjoyed by players of all ages. Nick was a fantastic host: his infectious humour, passion for the room and kindness truly enhanced our experience. You are always guaranteed a good, solid room with Enigma. However, pushes their high bar even higher. I cannot recommend this highly enough!
