It was a really enjoyable experience, once again Fran was an excellent host and gave us a cracking debrief afterwards. A must do room for enthusiasts out there!
We did the 60 minute version.
A run room with clever puzzles. Theming isn't as extravagant as some but what you get are great puzzles with a fantastic host.
The added element of Jewel hunting and almost a side quest to the main game is a great feature. Wish we did the 100 minute version.
Played the 100 min version
Played the 100-minute version. Puzzle-packed room with well themed puzzles and some clever twists too.
Good room, failed to stick the landing with the end
Some clever puzzles (don't be daunted when you walk in and see what dominates the first room!) await you in this room, a nice combination of both physical and logical puzzles walk you through trying to retrieve some stolen gems. We played the 100 minute version of this game which includes even more gens and even more puzzles! This is probably the weakest game at this venue but it's still very much worth your time.
Our 2nd visit to Beverley Breakout and it did not disappoint. Fran our host was brilliant from start to finish. The room is well themed with lots of puzzles to be solved with a few twists along the way. We will definitely be back to do the last 2 rooms at Beverley Breakout
Really enjoyed this game and particularly the hosting from Fran was fantastic! Puzzles are fun and well integrated into the story, plus the final room is just puzzles galore. Really enjoyed the deductive aspect as well. An excellent game all round
Great room that had a nice flow to it and such a variety of puzzles. Felt like it had a little something from each type of puzzles. The longer version was great as it just meant more puzzles- love the last part of the room in particular.
We wouldn't change anything about this room - felt perfect for what it is.
Can't fault the hosting in any way either - Fran and her family are great at this!
Wow what a room - at first we thought we'd struggle to maintain momentum over 100mins but we threw ourselves in and felt busy for the full time. The room and puzzles fit the story perfectly and we felt completely immersed through the full experience - everytime I thought where can it go next, I was surprised again!
This room is an absolute must play.
I say it everytime, but Fran is an amazing host and always happy to chat all things escaping or otherwise!
Another absolutely brilliant room from Beverley Breakout. The story was really cool and all of the puzzles were brilliantly themed to fit in with the room.
The 100 minutes flew by with the two of us only JUST able to make it. We did it on medium difficulty as there were only two of us, so plenty of room for searching fails by us...
As always, great room, great hosting, well worth the 4 hour round trip we took haha 🙂
Played the 100min version and found a good range of puzzles to keep us busy. Some trickier tasks early on culminated in a fun set of finale puzzles. Hosting great as it was for all the rooms.
The end game does it for me! Something different and fun!
We played the 100 minute version and there is a lot to do here! Some fab puzzles as always at Beverley Breakout and we really felt challenged in this room - the final section was particularly enjoyable for the puzzle purists that we are!
Beverly breakout is a must visit location! Great Host, great energy and a really fun day out!
100 minute played.
A brilliant concept from the start, the story is very immersive. There are a wide variety of puzzle types that enable everyone to feel of use in the room, and really effective in keeping people on their toes. Physical puzzles, code breaking and deduction are all brilliant additions to the more standard "find the combo for the padlock" puzzles which are also well developed.
There is a very novel section that felt slightly aside from the storyline, but as a puzzle fan and a bit of an escape room addict was so entertaining there was no way it could be taken as a negative!
Fran could not be a more attentive host from entry to exit and was a joy to talk to and be debriefed by!
We played the 100 minute version of this room (and set the record! Yippee!) and had a lot of fun doing so. A good mixture of different types of puzzles ranging from mathematical, word based, observational and some spatial. Again within Beverley Breakout rooms there were puzzles in this room I have never encountered before which is always fun to experience. Also again, the host Fran, clearly knows her games well as the few clues that were needed came through at the perfect moment. Towards the end of the game there is a series of fun standalone puzzles that don’t really tie in to the story of the room but they are so fun to do that you don’t even care! Once again, a fabulous room and we will definitely be going back to play the others!
We've done quite a lot of escape rooms and can honestly say that these are among the best rooms we have ever done. All the puzzles make sense and have a hint as to how to solve, some are subtle and we needed clues but were there to be seen. We are experienced but not experts and what really makes this a great experience, apart from the interesting storylines, is the expert hosting (your progress is clearly monitored continously which isn't the case for all places) and means that the amount of help is just right ensuring enjoyment for any standard of players.
The 100 minute Operation Hideout was amazing with a real mix of puzzles, searching, logic and physical activities - loved it. The Great Toy Rescue isn't just a children's room either, it's a really well put together room and whilst suitable for all ages will certainly have you thinking.
Finally what was also impressive was that for every room there was a great puzzle that we had never come across before which doesn't happen every time for us.
This review may sound over the top but we just think the games and overall experience really is that good. Try them for yourselves.
