The Museum of Secrets has been robbed!
The security guard at the Museum, Mr. E, has been murdered!
International jewel thief Robyn Yew has escaped with precious artefacts, including the priceless 'Pandora Diamond'!
An EMP device, designed by friend of the agency, Major X-Ploe Shun, has been planted at the scene, threatening to wipe out all of our communications!
Our illustrious leader, Agent November himself, was hot on the trail of Robyn Yew (after a tip-off from the ever-faithful Major X) hoping Robyn Yew would lead him straight to the whereabouts of the devious mastermind of the entire plot, our sworn enemy, Marty Orri!
Sadly, Marty Orri was one step ahead of us and Agent November has been captured!
We believe he is being held at the headquarters of Marty Orri, the exact room in which he planned all of these heinous crimes. Little does Marty Orri know, Agent November has been fitted with the very latest high-tech, proprietary auditory and optical implants, meaning we can see what he sees and hear what he hears.
We need you to tap into that audio and visual feed and help Agent November escape from Marty Orri's lair before the satellite moves out of position and we lose our link up!

Extra points for a wonderfully comedic host in what is otherwise a very low-fi/low-tech but remarkably creatively designed room. Keep an eye peeled for the bonus points and achievements!

Normally a low-tech room like this wouldn't get much, but the charisma and smoothness of the host, coupled with many humorous touches, gives this two extra stars than it would otherwise deserve.

A scrappy lo-fi game that nevertheless had some extremely fun moments and clever puzzles. Our GM/avatar really made the experience immersive and memorable.

One of the more challenging online Escapes we have done, with a lot more red herrings than we've seen in other games.  Definitely some challenging puzzles, with one that really stumped us (we got it with a small nudge).  The GM was very engaging, although with the time being as tight as it was, his "idiot avatar" persona was a tad frustrating to me (not so much to my teammates who are more patient than I!).  Nonetheless, a really fun experience, with some inventive elements that added to the realism.  Definitely recommended.

Possibly as great as you can get for a standard avatar-led, gen-1 room. Humor, achievements, and more makes it really stand out.

One of the best virtual games I've played. Witty, funny, and fully immersive.

Virtual X-Caper is a silly, joyous, family-friendly spy-themed romp of an escape room that's hard not to love.

The set is somewhat basic (it is, after all, being delivered during lockdown in, what I assume, might be the GM's own flat), the puzzles are solid but relatively standard, and the storyline is your typical fare....

...but where it absolutely shines is the delivery: our host/avatar was a superb performer - both in their physical performance (such as when we instructed them to touch an "electrified" circuit...) and their witty dialogue and responses, which were clearly off-the-cuff and pitched perfectly for our group of players. The game also features plenty of nice "Easter Eggs", such as the unlockable achievements to find, lots of in-jokes, and it just made us smile for a full hour.

This was great fun!  Excellent host and humor throughout the whole experience, several very nice puzzles that only work in a remote avatar medium.  It's a lot packed into 60 minutes, but we had great fun chasing down achievements and exploring the set, which clearly a DIY setup in what looks like someone's actual apartment.   It wasn't particularly whizzbang in terms of technical achievements - but this was one of the most fun online escape experiences I've had all pandemic.

Had a ton of fun with this experience! It really shows that with a live-avatar game, you don't need a flashy set and expensive tech. All you need is a great story, fun puzzles, and a host who goes 110% into character and focuses on having fun with you and your group. Highly recommend this experience.

just to pass on what would've been helpful for me when I was organizing this:  you have to pay for 5 players minimum, but you can play it with fewer than 5.  Just pop in a fake name or two.  Fair enough that they've got to cover costs.  It's certainly not that expensive to pay for 5, and It's a very good game.  Also, it's on BST.  And you don't HAVE to read the documents or watch the video provided ahead of the game, but it's great to get you in the mood, so why wouldn't you, right?

Well put together, creative and funny game. You are not just controlling an avatar, the avatar is hilarious! 🙂

„Ok cool, the Avatar is inputing the code in the keypad, and the keypad is making the usual beeps. …wait, is the Avatar making those beep sounds?“
Agent November’s Virtual X-Caper is a standout in the world of remote escaping, filled with humour, spy drama, and of course, some pleasing puzzles

We really liked how the game started as it didn't feel like we were going to play a remote escape room. We were put in a real situation where we were sent to help a captured agent. This was the only remote room so far that made me feel like I was part of the avatar (like a voice inside his head).

Practically flawless! How fitting that it was my final escape room experience of 2020? I can’t think of a more appropriate way to hurl oneself into the bold new 2021 than by saving Agent November’s life and doing so with a laugh, a “wow that’s good!” and more than anything, with friends.

Agent November VIRTUAL X-CAPER is a really effective concept for a simple remote escape room for the price and the way it was implemented. VIRTUAL X-CAPER is a wonderful example of how the role of the avatar can turn a rather low budget room into a well-rounded experience.

The modest flat of a notorious super villain; London’s best secret agent held captive; I’d say the only thing needed to make this an epic spy adventure is a martini (shaken, not stirred.)
Based on previous experiences, I believe that games in London always have great actors. This could be due to either of the following reasons: Actors are London's greatest export / Anyone with a British accent sounds prestigious. Virtual X-Caper was no exception as the actor in this game was brilliant in a comedic and whimsical fashion. The game starts off with you seeing/hearing everything that your avatar sees and they did a great job in making us feel that we were in his head.
