A low-fi, low-tech, simple-set game that tells an interesting creepy story in an unusual way.

This was a cleverly put together game, with some good integration of the online elements.  Definitely make sure that you have a 2nd screen or a decent second device, because the inventory actually provides story elements that are critical to making it a good experience.  A couple of particularly clever puzzles, and a quite satisfying denouement.  Recommended!

Clever idea. good puzzles. Not quite up there with DTF by the same company, but still worth doing.

Extremely well executed and thoughtful design. My group had a fantastic time and I'm already organizing our next reservation for a remote birthday!

The team has really enjoyed it. We did not manage to finish the game because it was too difficult (it was the first escape the room for some participants) but everyone had fun.

Owen brought the character to life! There were spooky moments when I thought I heard noises in my own home and gasped. Truly felt a sense of dread throughout the game. The puzzles are challenging, unique, and story driven. The performer's zoom camera POV is supplemented by a digital 360 view of the room to help players familiarize themselves with everything in there. This made the experience feel very similar to an in-person escape room. I'm afraid to turn the lights out now...

Highly recommend and I can't wait to book the next chapter!

I really love the games that give you a creepy vibe, but you can also have fun and laugh at things while going through the game.  The storyline and puzzles were fantastic.

Escaped just in time!

This creepy room was our first remote avatar game. Played with telescape and zoom.
Not much humor in this for us - maybe it depends on the host. We felt that a lot of the time was used on video/audio.

We felt that everything went very slow but that is probably because we are used to be active participants in the telescape platform rather than having to direct one person to solve things. Not sure this format is good for us. Could be a culture thing. We both felt bad directing the avatar - we wanted to ask what he wanted to do :).

We liked the drawer puzzle and chalkboards and really did not like the computer puzzle. It felt out of place.

Yesterday my team and I had the pleasure of playing the digitally hosted game of Night Terrors at Mystery Mansion Regina . Having already played and loved both Deville’s Curio Shoppe and The Sleepy Man as live avatar games (easily two of my favourites), I was very excited to play the remaining game of the trilogy. Our whole team had an amazing time. They have gone above and beyond with Game Mastering in character and have made so many additional videos to the game based upon what you choose to do in the room ,that other then the fact you click to look around the room, you would think the whole game was live avatar. What a seamless transition !! This game really needs it’s own category as the story is choice driven like a Choose You Own Adventure yet it is done in such a way that it is totally immersive. This is for sure by FAR my favourite digital game yet but please know that it really deserves it’s own category as it plays so much more like an incredibly immersive live avatar. If you like room escapes and puzzles, grab a headset, turn out the lights and spend some time with the Sleepy Man. The entire trilogy is amazing !

Fantastic! The live hosting was brilliant and our host had a great presence.  The puzzles were challenging  -- not too easy and just hard enough to make us feel good when we were able to solve them. Used 2 clues and that was fine!

Well worth it and should be played!

Well done, Alex!

Worked better for us to fix a time to play and then put together a team.  You have to contact the host to set a time but Mitch was very helpful - and a great host who really gets into character!

Spent a fair bit of time at the beginning sorting out an audio settings issue for one player but Mitch took the time to note how it was resolved in case it comes up again.

I love cut scenes, and I appreciated that we were automatically muted when they ran.  The puzzles were solid but a good story like this makes a game so much more satisfying.

Nothing about this room terrorised us, we loved it. A good use of Telescape and live video made for a slick and seamless game. The star of the show though was our avatar who brought the character to life and really made this game special.

This story line was really good. It kept us intrigued the entire time. By incorporating the audio concept of storytelling with puzzles, it made us feel like we were not just playing a regular puzzle solving game but were really part of this horrible nightmare. We looked forward to solving each puzzle since we're always rewarded with another development in the story. It almost felt like opening a different chapter in a book....

You are tasked with playing Alex’s subconscious, guiding him through the room to solve puzzles and riddles, each taking you a step closer to discovering what is going on, and finding out who is the mysterious figure plaguing Alex’s dreams.
It's 1:50 in the morning and I'm going to bed hoping I won't have any nightmares. Not because the room I just played was bad or so scary that I fear for my sleep; no, it's because the theme of night terrors lends itself to it and has planted a seed in my subconscious.Tonight we played in a Canadian escape that offers 3 themes at the moment. As often we will connect to zoom 15 minutes before the beginning of the game, this is where we will communicate with our Avatar (Game master aka Sam aka...

Theme-wise, it might not been as "nerve-wracking" as some I've played in England or even the Netherlands, but it still conveys the right feels - especially if you happen to know that the game is played in Mystery Mansion's older building, which is next to a funeral home, and that some employees actually refuse to work there at night, believing the place to be genuinely haunted.
