Christmas games have become more and more a part of the Escape Room universe, whilst each game is different, they all tend to have similar parts. Christmas trees, silly hats, presents, crackers, tinsel, etc. This is a very linear room where you move between 24 puzzles (advent!) with each puzzle giving you hints how to solve the next one. This is a very fun room that will leave you with a smile on your face when you leave.
Such a neat concept makes this a great room for enthusiasts while also appealing to family / novice groups. Kept us engaged throughout and despite being quite linear, we all had good time and would tackle bonus puzzles while the others attacked the primary puzzle. Set is good and puzzles are a lot of fun to solve - only a well hidden bit of searching kept us from the maximum score. Really enjoyable game, highly recommended
A lovely Christmas room. Thereβs so much to get through so keeps a good intense pressure as a two. We managed to get everything with 20ish seconds remaining so a strong pace is needed throughout! The puzzles are easy but as thereβs so much to do, you still feel challenged.

A really different set up here, as the aim is to score points rather than escape. It's not the biggest game but the puzzles are so on-theme, so quirky and there is just so much in here that we found the time flying by! It is designed so that you can do this with children and not get too hung up of whether you escape or not, which makes it really accessible as a fun Christmas trip out. It's also got enough challenge for keen escape room-ers! We really rated this one.

Having been opened for 2021βs festive season, Christmas Advent-ure was long closed by mid spring when I got to Halifax, but the owners kindly allowed us to play it anyhow, since it hadnβt yet been torn down. Iβm not sure whether itβll be available again next Christmas, so this review may be purely for retrospective interest.
This is a score-based game. Your goal is to gather small wooden tokens called PUDs, which you then feed into a collector that gathers them off in a rather satisfying manner...
Normally, we at Review the Room do not mesh well with games themed around the jolly holidays, but Christmas Advent-ure doesnβt feel like your typical Christmas game
