Few people know about the Brighthelm Diamond, a jewel of epic value. It was purchased by four of Brightonโs most influential developers and has been hidden, for if ever the city was in dire need.
But now, Brighton is in danger of losing it, as its whereabouts have been revealed to the worst kind of people. It is only a matter of time before it is stolen and auctioned off. You must break into the jeweller where it is hidden and save the treasure for the sake of the city.
Can you and your team pull off this heroic heist to save a part of Brighton heritage?

Firstly, our GM Vik was fantastic! The game itself was simply brilliant, so much to do, immersive, tricky and totally worth it. Would highly recommend!

Loot the Lanes has a reputation for being one of the best games in the UK and for good reason. The theming is brilliant, creating a game set in the famous jewellery district of Brighton. The puzzles were great fun but challenging, which gives alot of satisfaction when solved. We only just escaped as a 2 but we had an awesome time from beginning to end. Pier Pressure do escape rooms like they should be, thematic, logical and fun. Definitely in my top 3. Go and play!

It's easy to see why so many rate this room as one of the best in the UK. The theming is top notch and the puzzles are really well thought out. This is one room which really evolves over the course of the hour with things opening up and new secrets getting revealed. It's beautiful how the game pans out. Definitely not one to miss!

We had great fun in the lanes. Hosting was brilliant and kept in character the whole time. Lots of different puzzle types to keep you busy. One of the best rooms weโve played.

Great and immersive room themed around the lanes in Brighton really well. Logical flow to the room and clever puzzles that rightly deserves it one of the top rooms in the UK

Fabulous experience from start to finish. The GM was fantastic, loved the in character brief. Set was beautiful and the puzzles were really good fun and very clever, a lot of them I've never seen before. Well deserving of it's reputation!
Absolutely fantastic; deserves its reputation as one of the best games in the UK as of 2019. Lengthy introduction from our GM who remained impeccably in character throughout. Usually a 4+ game but doable as a 2 if you work hard and split up. I am not sure there is anything I can find to say against this game - solid fun from start to end. The set dressing is absolutely fantastic and love the local theme. A couple of moments of comedy thrown in by the GM just added to the experience. I would recommend any of the Pier Pressure games but if you can only do one, I'd recommend this one.

What a game!! Had such a blast playing this. Set design was excellent, puzzles were inventive and well themed and the GM Nick was fantastic: super friendly and gave the perfect amount of help. Really deserves its top spot amongst Brighton rooms and I can't find anything bad to say against it

A true marvel in every element of an escape room... Perfect GM hosting, stunning set design and inventive, enjoyable puzzles for every type of player! The set really does make you feel like you're in the lanes in Brighton on a mild evening and the clue system is clever with a funny, engaging host. The puzzles capture every element of team work, logic, physical and fun. A must for every escapist... Bravo Pier Pressure!
Loved this adventure, the production is excellent, from the flooring to the details on the lanes themselves... you really do feel like you're in the actual lanes. If you know Brighton then you'll get the little nods and easter eggs to the real-life lanes, but if you don't know the area then don't worry, it doesn't impact on the adventure.
The puzzles and gameplay flowed excellently, no hints or nudges were needed as we found the puzzles logical and the signposting was evident but not too obvious. The puzzles are very well themed and are worked into the narrative, and the gameplay culminates with a great finale. This really is a must play room.
Is there a perfect escape room? I'm not sure but this might be close. From the excellent theming to the flawless signposting and logical nature of the puzzles (each one led you to the next one and then the next one). This is incredibly good and worthy of all the praise thats been heaped on it.

Excellent immersive set design with impressive attention to detail and high quality props. Anyone who's lived in Brighton or spent time there will recognise little Easter eggs within in the theming.
The GM was fantastic with a great in-character intro as she showed us to the room. She helped only when needed, and gave us a good chance to tackle the puzzles ourselves. We enjoyed the personalised debrief also. Excellent judgement all round!
The room itself had a couple of smart and unique puzzles that we haven't seen elsewhere - I may have yelped with excitement at times!
It was a solid challenge for a team of 2, with only a couple of bits where we were clearly disadvantaged by not having the normal minimum team size of 4.
Great experience, and looking forward to returning to try other rooms at Pier Pressure.
Brilliant quality escape room and in such a great setting! This game was fully immersive and had us hooked the moment the games host came to collect us! We have played most of the pier pressure games now but this was our favourite as very unique!!

One of the escape rooms everybody tells you you have to play, and understandably so. A fabulously immersive setting and wide variety of puzzles, giving each of our team of four a chance to contribute. Unsurprisingly, we recommend it unreservedly.
This game in itself was worth the trip to Brighton. We really enjoyed this one due to the cool set design and interesting puzzles. We can understand why this game is so highly thought of within the community and loved the fact the host had to walk with us in character in the street. This game is a good challenge for an experienced team of 2.
Impressive set with a lot of variety and fun mechanics thrown in, a real blast with a great host. Our only nit-pick was we think for the reputation it has we expected some slightly more layered puzzles.
My favourite escape room of all time. Funny, lovely to look at, great hosting from Dylan (no clues as we didnโt need them but lovely chatting after and great intro in character), and a dazzling variety of puzzles that were great fun to solve! Perfection.

Fantastic fun, really nice set and theme. Definitely do-able as a 2 if you've got a reasonable level of experience. Looking forward to trying other PP games now!
After hearing so much hype about this room I had high expectations.
There is no doubt that this is a fantastic room, but above the incredibly immersive theming I didn't feel that there was anything new or different here. If you know Brighton then maybe it's more interesting but to someone who doesn't, it was just another escape room with lovely set design. Out of the 3 we did here it was certainly their best.
I spent a lot of time wandering around looking for something to do as my teammates already had all of the puzzles covered. For an experienced team it felt like a fairly easy room with all of the standard puzzles.
The GM was great and only gave us 1 hint to ensure we kept a nice flow.
There was also a broken element right at the end, so thankfully it didn't cause any flow issues with the game, but it was quite anti-climactic.

Our favourite room at Pier Pressure, their rooms never dissapoint. Room looks great, and was enough of a challenge with some cool puzzles. You can see why it's is considered their best room.
A fantastic theme and the game play was a fun and innovative, but the game feels slightly hampered by its reputation, but still an enjoyable game either way.
However, if you haven't played yet I definitely recommend!
I think this one was a victim of its hype for us, but its still a really good room. Hosting is great, and the set is really well done. It's not as spectacular as some more modern rooms, but it captures the feel of the Lanes really well, and is definitely original!
Puzzles are also a highpoint, and they are quite varied too. Certainly lots to do! If you want to do this as a 2 player team though it's more than doable - you'll have to move relatively quickly however to compensate.
Unfortunately it wasn't a perfect experience as we had some tech issues which caused us to lose a fair chunk of time (I think it's due to how the puzzle works/operates without giving you a reset option, our host should have picked this up really though), and there's one puzzle near the end that needs some TLC, or they'll have a visit from health and safety soon!
Admittedly these are just minor niggles but they detracted from the overall experience unfortunately.
Loot The Lanes should need little introduction. It's occupied the #1 slot on this site's rankings of UK games for far longer than any of its rivals, and it was the highest ranked UK game in the TERPECA awards in 2019, 2020 and 2021. As a result it's been top of my list of games to play for an unconscionably long time, with a visit delayed by a combination of the pandemic and the fiddly logistics of organising a group for a Brighton trip. It officially requires at least four players, but is playa...
A beautiful room that's a joy to spend time in. The puzzles are well-presented, there are moments of theatre at several points and there's a clear finale that makes the game end on a high.
Loot the Lanes contains a real sense of awe that is often lacking in escape rooms and is a true testament to the team at Pier Pressure. Everything about this game is first rate and I can easily see why this game is consistently rated as the best, or one of the best in the UK. Itโs a must play.
