In the studio of the century's best forger, you will find plenty of famous paintings. But only one of them is an original! This painting is not only very expensive but is also your only way to escape this room; it is the key and the single code to exit this room. You have 60 minutes to find the original and escape from the room! You'll forget you're even in Altrincham!

Nice room, different to your usual themes. Homemade elements to the room and can see where others had reviewed this as a dated room. When we first walked in we were a little apprehensive by the appearance but the story and puzzles flowed nicely and turned out to be a good little room that we enjoyed playing.
A great little fun room with quite a bit of content for such a small space.
The decor was fairly garish with bright bold colours and plastered with portraits, however there was a great sense of exploration in the room.
Its difficult to write too much about this room as its neither mind blowing nor something to make you disappointed. As with all of their rooms at Code to exit, they are very much a "home made feel" something i tend to prefer over corporate chains.

A charming game which stacks up well against the other offerings at the venue. Solid, fairly varied puzzles and an original theme that drew me in.
Overall, The Forger was a unique theme with amazing original puzzles which as a first for us, made us lose track of time! The first time we looked at the clock, half of it was gone. For a room to create an immersive adventure which makes you lose track of time and enjoy all of the puzzles you have to solve, must mean there is some Hungarian magic within Code to Exit.
