Your father, Lord Sebastian Ashcroft, is a world renowned archaeologist. Six months ago he set off on his latest expedition to the depths of South America in search of the tomb of the legendary Inca god, Catequil. Really enjoyed this room, my favourite at this venue so far (have done Colditz and SP Eyes). Nice level of difficulty where nothing felt like a leap but there were some 'doh' moments. A little worn but still hi tech and loved the passion in the hosting.
Great sense of adventure throughout this game. Set is pretty good and the puzzles all worked but some were quite basic and we definitely overcomplicated them. Definitely a great game to play with kids but good fun for adults as well and we enjoyed it a lot. Owner is really friendly and passionate

A nice game which uses the space cleverly and has a mix of difficult and easier puzzles which i feel makes it a room most people can enjoy. If you like anything indiana jones or tomb raider then this game would suit you perfectly

This is a very well built room and very immersive. There's one or two tricky puzzles that can be interpreted in a number of ways. Besides that, everything else is perfect and there's some great mechanics in there.
This is (so far) the best room we have played by a country mile. The detail put into this room is amazing. The puzzles are perfectly themed and the room flows well. It really is a visually impressive room which just keeps giving a-ha moments. The hosting for all of the rooms at Enigma Retford is absolutely fantastic too, we look forward to the new room opening to give us an excuse to go back!
Enigma rooms always seem to be decorated beautifully and this is no different; it's a wonderful space that just seems to keep on going! There was a lot of impressive tech in here and a whole host of puzzles to keep us going. The immersive element was really strong and we loved the physicality of some of the challenges; overall, it was a really enjoyable adventure that I'd certainly recommend to beginners and enthusiasts alike.
Wonderful attention to detail on the decor which really enhance the feeling that you're on an adventure. Some lovely 'oooh!' moments too. Really enjoyed this one.
There's a definite sense of exploration in this room containing some clever transitions but still maintaining that "adventurers theme". The puzzles have a nice flow and contain some great "a-ha" moments throughout. Easily my favourite game at the venue.

Really enjoyed the sense of exploration in this room and appreciated how each space was specifically designed to be part of the story. Some of the puzzles in this room were largely paper based and whilst fitting with the theme felt a little generic. That being said a few puzzles were definitely a stand out (no spoilers here but they were cleverly integrated into the story and space exploration). We also found one puzzle to be quite fiddly (most likely our fault but made it feel like we had the incorrect answer when we were right!).
