Remember Lewis Carroll, Professor Potchβs favourite author? Well, heβs in trouble β again! Itβs now 1871, eight years after Carroll suffered an accident that threatened the existence of Aliceβs Adventures in Wonderland and our intrepid time travelling volunteers were sent into his brain to help him remember all his ideas for finishing it.
This time around the problem isnβt a lack of ideas; itβs how to put them together. Carroll has come up against a pesky case of writerβs block while writing his second novel, Alice Through the Looking Glass, and itβs your job to fix it by travelling between regions of his brain and lighting the sparks of his imagination. Be quick about it, though! If you donβt manage to get rid of the block in time, Alice Through the Looking Glass will remain uncompletedβ¦foreverβ¦

Enjoyed this room and the strong Lewis Carroll theme played through in both the decorations and the puzzles. The premise was to open and move through various doors and the entry room had something like six doors in it. We spent the whole game like we weren't working fast enough which made it feel very intense because we hadn't realised that the majority of doors were for decoration only!

What a wonderful room! Such a great concept, lovely mix of puzzles and tasks, brilliant humour and some really lovely aha!s. I really hope this concept can be recreated somewhere when TimeTrap closes, as it was so enjoyable! Lily was a wonderful GM and we genuinely grinned the whole way through. So well done.

This was fantastic - a room where the difficulty of the puzzles is just right given the amount of stuff there is to do, but thereβs still really not much time to waste! We found it perfectly balanced in that regard, and the originality in here was superb (especially in the second half). The puzzles link very well with the theme and it was a blast from start to finish.Loved it and canβt find any faults!

So I had heard really good things about this room and went in with high expectations which unfortunately I didn't feel were met. Played as a 2 and due to the amount of puzzles and size of the room meant we didn't have enough time to finish. Unfortunately we weren't given extra time either which was frustrating as the GM told us we were quite close to finishing. It's also very expensive to play as a 2 Β£35pp so given that I think you should be allowed more time. The puzzles and theme was good however it wasn't really logical or clear where to go next. The first half of the room felt very slow without making too much progress. Left feeling a bit deflated and disappointed

Another good time trap room, great storyline and premise, original and unexpected. Some really good puzzles, and the hosting/clue giving was really thoughtful and well timed. Im sad I have run out of Timetrap rooms now.

Enjoyed this room, but not quite as much as their other room, Pudding Lane. Set was nice enough - hard to make it too immersive when your setting is inside someone's head, though. Hosting was excellent by (I think) Dan. Also, he looks like Keanu Reeves, so that's pretty great too. Only reason I can't rate this room higher is because basically all of the puzzles are word/linguistic-based which I am terrible at and subsequently don't enjoy too much. Would still recommend the room. But definitely preferred Pudding Lane.
Played with our 6 and 9 year old kids and was a great room. Lots that they could get involved in (sometimes to the detriment of speed!) But lovely puzzles, as we expect from TimeTrap!
I wish there were more games like this. It's a room inspired by Lewis Carroll, rather than one of his books. Lots of creative puzzles, and an excellent set. TimeTrap are in a class of their own.

Like the other game at this venue, this has some great theming and story driven beats to it. I don't think the theming is as strong as the other game and I would suggest this game is the harder of the two but its still very much worth your time.

Beautiful room, quite large for the 2 of us so we found it quite difficult to complete. Our average for a room is ~45mins so anymore than that and I'm worried we won't get out! Wish we had had a 3rd person for this one

Our favourite of the TimeTrap games, this had a very playful theme executed wonderfully. Puzzles were interesting and varied, game flow felt spot on for 4 people and the set design was excellent. Not to be missed!
Found this room to be more difficult than the others as a pair due to its size and the number of tasks to accomplish. The room itself is beautifully decorated with some very clever touches that add to the immersion and feel of entering the mind of Charles Dodgson AKA Lewis Caroll. Some creative puzzles as ever and a very cleverly inserted and unobtrusive clue system.
Very impressive use of space and love how everything links back to Lewis Carrol. You can tell the designers of the games at TimeTrap really do their research and ensure even the smallest of things are historically accurate.
As expected, a great variety of puzzles (including some designed by the man himself!) and some really fun physical elements too. Another excellent game from an excellent company.
I've come to expect great rooms from TimeTrap and wasn't disappointed. We did it as a 5 and we ended up smashing it and finishing very quickly. But I think it just caught us on a good day and it's a normal difficulty room.

Return trip to play the revised Alice themed room - thought there were some very original puzzles in this and also a good variety, excellent hosting by our GM. Set wise perhaps not as beautiful as Station X or Puddling Lane but it's still a very enjoyable game and we felt suitably immersed in the experience!
lovely set and fun puzzles, felt a little short in content in comparison to the first! Still a classic timetrap room, but fell short of pudding lane and station x.
It started so wonderfully with the aesthetic but lost it's charm a bit as we delve deeper into the room. The puzzles flowed well but probably not as successful as the other two rooms presently there. Still worth a play if visiting Timetrap. Maddy was very nice and accommodating as GM.

Curiouser and Curiouser is the sequel to Time Trap's previous game Imaginarium. There are any number of Alice in Wonderland rooms available, but Imaginarium was unusual in combining Wonderland theming with a section set inside Lewis Carroll's mind. The sequel doubles down on that, with the premise that the author is suffering from writer's block, and needs you to enter his mind and unlock his inspiration so that he can complete his second book.
The decor here is colourful and quirky, with sepia...
Another example of a beautifully assembled game by TimeTrap that was a joy to play. The puzzles were great and on theme, and the room itself was wonderful to interact with. Donβt worry if you didnβt play the prequel to this game, youβll still have a great time.
