This game is all about the character of Hilda the witch, who was very entertaining. Secondly after her was the beautiful set. And thirdly after that was the puzzles. We had a great time, but some of the puzzle types were not really suited for online play. Still glad we experienced it, though!
This game has a beautiful set and a magical atmosphere. Hilda the witch is a very interesting avatar, probably one of the best I have seen so far. Puzzles are presented linearly but some can be quite tricky to solve.
Really glad we got to play this online before they took away the option. Whimsical, funny, fantastic hosting, and really clever puzzles. This is one that I'm sure is really fun in person, but the way they made it for online play and getting to interact with Hilda made it one of the best we've played.
Fantastic. The witch was so creative and We loved interacting with her. Dont miss this room. One of the best I have played.
Utterly bonkers, but a lot of fun and really different. One of the most involved avatars I've played a game with.
I adored this room. The set is gorgeous and whimsical. I can't overstate that part enough. The avatar is completely in her witch character and very entertaining. The puzzles were generally good (one we particularly liked and one that didn't seem like all the parts were really necessary). It includes well-produced, cute videos along the way, which were fun, and a satisfying ending. Family friendly. My favorite remote experience thus far (of ~20)!
Very nice set! We also appreciated that the GM was in costume and in character. Some clever puzzles. They have added in some novel virtual elements with little video cut scenes. Unfortunately that didn't work that well for my friends because their internet is a bit slow. Happily the videos weren't really necessary, so everyone was able to contribute to solving the puzzles. All in all a good time!
Lovely setting with amazing props and theming. The puzzles are nicely done and are clear to see the detail on the screen, the avatar is great fun who interacts very well, but it all went alittle to slowly for me, we were held at a constant rate throughout the game.

The Witch's Forest by Daydream Adventures Toronto is a live video adventure that hit just the right note for us. Hilda quickly played her way into our hearts and so did the game itself. The setting is very family friendly due to its rather fantastical approach and artistic implementation, and also so far unused. However, Hilda makes each experience unique for the players, so even for adult players she brings the game to another level with her humor.
So yes, the room's gorgeous, of course - I think the picture makes it clear. But it's not only that. The theme and the provided video sequences give a whimsical feel to the whole experience, while our avatar did a great job at entertaining our adult-only group.
