The Gulf of Aden is beautiful, but dangerous.
We took every possible precaution to protect our precious cargo. But it wasn’t until we saw that skiff speeding through the midnight ocean, heard the clatter of armed pirates boarding our vessel, smelt the steel of their guns as they pushed us into the storage room – that was when we realised what was really valuable on the ship.
They’ve taken the Captain to negotiate the ransom… But these handcuffs are a little loose… maybe one of us can get through to The Citadel and call for help...
We haven’t got long, but we have got hope, brains and a better knowledge of the ship than these pirates.
Can we find a way to save the Captain and ourselves?

Solid game using Telescape, 360 virtual version of a real room.  Great quality images and video clips- feels like you are really there.

quite easy

Run from the modern day pirates and get to safety in the citadel. That was the mission.

Lots of translation and a bit of counting to get code for different style locks. We really liked how the puzzle of messaging for help went and we liked that we got to steer the ship. Nice videos and ok signposting. Some puzzles could have used a bit more feedback - either visual or audio. We were not quite sure if we were through.

The first time we tried the game, we ran into the (telescape?) bug that videos were black - they were playing and we could hear the sound, just no image. We messaged the company and after a short time it was decided that we got a new code and tried another day. All worked well with the new code. Great handling of the problem.

We did not find the decor or theme very engaging, but that is our taste. There could have been a bit more care taken in the digitization - but I'm sure that good 360 degrees images are not easy to get completely right.

No doubt this was fun and could be good for escape room beginners.

I played this whilst the online game is in Testing and whilst providing feedback. I anticipate it will be possible to complete in half my testing time generally.

Set in a very close confinement room, this is a real room that has been translated to an online experience. As such there are a few things that don't quite work in some of the puzzles within - but sometimes you do need that physical touch and activity, and the team behind this game have tried hard to give some of that experience.

A nice mix of visual puzzles and a good sequence of events to follow.  An enjoyable game.
