This room will certainly keep your team busy! There is a lot to do with a nice variety of puzzles; and even some that you may not have seen before! Would recommend!
An absolutely gorgeous room! Beautifully designed, some incredible tech, and a really well integrated storyline.
Amazing Room! Can't recommend enough!
I can see why people rate this as a great room - beautiful set, lots of puzzles and nice flow. Unfortunately we had a GM who was very disinterested - had a problem with one of the pieces of tech not opening close to the end. Couldn't have cared less that we were having a problem, and came into the room exactly as the time ended to shoo us out without wanting to answer any questions about the game. A shame not to finish as essentially scuppered by the tech fail and only a minute or so off. Ended up feeling rather disappointed by the experience which was gutting as under other circumstances I think we would really have enjoyed this. Overall, the venue is fantastic so I think we were just unlucky with the hosting on this occasion.
Had a great time at bloodline despite not being able to complete the escape room. It was very immersive despite a couple of puzzles really stumping us.
Absolutely packed with puzzles, which is just how we like it. It's a 5 star difficulty rating for a reason, mostly because of the sheer quantity of stuff to do. The design is stunning and we felt so immersed in the storyline. There are some beautifully thought out puzzles in here that we really enjoyed and some gorgeous'wow' moments.
Chris was a great host; we really look forward to coming to Locked In because the staff are so friendly.
Another superb game that might even be our favourite in Glasgow. It's a must do!
Locked in Glasgow has always built detailed sets with a strong narrative threaded through the rooms, so I was looking forward to a new room, and Bloodline certainly didn't disappoint.
The theming is classically gothic, you almost expect Winona Ryder as Mina Harker to be sat in the room. The time and precision that has gone into the build and decor throughout this adventure is considerable, the look and feel of every prop and decoration fit the room and the story well and allows you to quickly become immersed in this world. I found myself more than once examining the decor and wondering where they'd found such an interesting item.
The story progresses well and maintains that sense of discovery throughout as you reveal layers of the story and learn more about your late great, great-grandfather. The puzzles are plentiful and allow larger teams to work independently, I particularly liked the early challenge as it's great to ease new players into the escape room. There's a nice mix of puzzles in there, with some nice new twists on some of the old favourites.
If you're in Glasgow then it's a must-play room.
We are always excited to try a new room from Locked In Glasgow and what can I say except this one definitely did not disappoint!! Such incredibly beautiful theming, with a great story and, once we got over an initial hurdle, non-stop action!! As a team of two we felt we were pushed (!) right to the wire and really had to blitz through a few things to have a chance of escape (we got some help too, which we usually would mostly avoid - not all of it was maybe needed but it helped us get a reasonable exit time) but the pacing of this game had been perfectly judged by the creators and meant that the excitement was really ramped up at just the right point. There were some wonderful reveals and “ooooh!” moments, and although nothing was too much of a head-scratcher, there was such a wealth of things to do that we were never bored or left with nothing to do, and the main challenge really was in keeping up the necessary - breakneck - pace. Helpfully, though, we were almost constantly able to work independently of each other, without feeling like we really missed out on anything, which is a rare achievement in an escape room! Not everything we encountered was entirely in keeping with the theme (some use of modern tech that maybe felt a little out of place), but really that’s nitpicking and this is a wonderfully designed and immersive room that is thoroughly varied, creative and just downright enjoyable. I was bouncing around the room by the end! Another smash from this wonderful team of escape creators. Thanks so much guys, we’ll be back for the next one as and when!! ☺️
