I've been looking forward to playing this since I found out Case Closed was making a new room. The Murder of Max Sinclair has been my top room for quite a while now, and I was interested to see how this one would compare. They really branched out with this one! Incredibly fun theming that lets the team decide how they want to play. For a casual team there's so many fun interactive elements and it encourages you to have a lot of fun with the set. Plenty of great, creative puzzles for a more serious team as well. They really can't be rivalled in terms of heart and hosting. It's clear a lot of love went into this room and it really pays off. Overall, I can't recommend it highly enough.

I wasn't sure about I'd like the theme when we went in but wow, this room blew me away. Easily one of the best I've played. It hit every mark bang on. The setting, the props, the puzzles, the hosting, and all the other little touches that really pushed it above and beyond. Just a really solid room all around.

What a room! If you're looking for a place that focuses more on the overall experience than individual puzzles or challenges you'll have a lot of fun here. They made such an incredible use of the available space. I had a fantastic time aboard and our hosts were absolutely lovely. Bit expensive but highly recommend!

Quite an experience. I think 3-4 people is pretty ideal for this room. Some original puzzles. A few felt a little unintuitive but we still got through with time to spare. Definitely gets points for some of the props.

This room's main strength was its theme. Loved the inclusion of real sand, the props, and a lot of the builds in the room. It kept up a brisk pace and was generally entertaining. We managed at quite a relaxed pace as a group of two. Would probably be great for groups with kids.

I feel a little bad leaving such a low rating. The host seemed really nice and it's clear some love went into this room, but a lot of the puzzles were broken and on more than one occasion the GM had to come into the room or give us guidance over the intercom after we'd figured out a riddle because they were finicky or unintuitive. The design was pretty fun but it needs a bit of work.

quite easy

Little disappointed in this one. I had high hopes but the puzzles varied between too easy and near impossible. Retrieving the key came as a bit of an anticlimax and it kind of skipped over the story elements. It's a good way to kill an hour but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Wow this room absolutely blew me away! I heard a lot about it before I played and somehow it still managed to exceed all my expectations. Truly unlike any other room I've played, due in no small part to the dedication and incredible energy of its GM and creators. It encourages you to take your time and really immerse yourself in the storyline, uncovering layer after layer. The puzzles are well constructed and thought through, all feeling very natural in the environment. The room makes great use of lighting, music, and voice over to create ambience which shifts in accordance with the unravelling mystery. Truly an experience I will not forget, I cannot recommend it enough!

A very fun and well constructed room! Unfortunately we were just shy of making it out in time but it was such an excellent experience that I can't say I mind much. Very fun theme and decorations, and the staff were all delightful. Would definitely recommend.

Pretty fun room. Its strongest point is definitely the set design as it was beautifully decorated. Bit lacking in lore and plot, but it had some unique and well constructed puzzles. It makes for a fun afternoon out.

I really loved playing this room! There's some great attention to research connecting it to  Edinburgh's historic past. The GMs are all delightful and all dress in historical costumes which is a really nice touch! Story was fun and engaging and linked well to the puzzles. Definitely worth a visit!
