Dein Team und Du erwacht in der Gewalt dunkler Mächte. Im Dunklen werdet Ihr in einem unterirdischen Verließ zurück gelassen. Der Henker hat sich schon auf den Weg zu Euch gemacht. In einer Stunde beginnt das uralte Ritual einer geheimen Bruderschaft, das seit jeher Menschenopfer fordert. Befreit Euch aus dem Kerker, bevor einer von Euch das nächste Opfer wird. Jede Sekunde bringt Euch der Freiheit näher…oder auch dem Henker.

😨creepy

Schön gestalteter Raum - wie auch die anderen bei Mastermind in Bern. Es hat leicht gruselige Elemente und einen (coolen, finde ich) jump scare. Allerdings finde ich es blöd, wenn man etwas lange im Dunkeln suchen muss, was noch nicht mal zu einem tollen Rätsel führt. Dafür gibt es eindeutig Abzug.

Auch schade finde ich, dass man die Fotos hinterher für alle Räume an der gleichen Stelle machen muss (vor dem Logo). Da kann man sich heutzutage doch wirklich etwas besseres einfallen lassen, vor allem weil die Räume dort in der höheren Preiskategorie spielen.

Nice looking set and some pleasing physicality to it; GM competent in hosting us in English which was great. Some puzzles that did not make to much sense in logical terms and somehow managed to bypass one by inputting the correct solution by accident - also finished fairly quickly for us so perhaps not the hardest game. Definitely in mid-tourist Berlin and perhaps catering more to the non-enthusiast market than some of the other venues. Fun enough but didn't leave feeling that we'd rush back again.

The Executioner is a horror game, but while it follows some of the usual tropes of the genre - a start involving separation and imprisonment, plenty of rather grisly props - it's not the usual serial killer story. Instead, you've been captured by a murderous cult who intend to use you as human sacrifices, and although theoretically using a modern day setting, the decor is closer to a medieval castle theme.

Nervous players shouldn't be too concerned about the game. The start uses some of the lea...
