Mr Cooper loves Gnomes and his favorite one is called Arthur. Some people, or as Mr Cooper calls them 'ruffians', keep stealing Arthur and taking him on holiday. They even have the cheek to send back pictures and postcards of him! So Mr Cooper has hidden Arthur away and protected him with some cunning puzzles. However, what Mr Cooper doesn't realise is Arthur loved his holidays and he misses them. Can you help Arthur get a way from it all?

One of these rooms you wish you had played in real life. The telescape platform worked well for this, but some moments you just wish you had been there for. A bit of magic in those.
The flow of puzzles were great. Most were easy so you felt like you were moving all the time. It was VERY lock-based and that is ok with us.
The theme made it very light-hearted and at times funny. We did spot an error in one puzzle, we think, but it was easy to correct and the right puzzle solution was difficult to get wrong, since this was only a small part.

funnystory-drivenfamily friendlyquite easy
Light-hearted, family-friendly and lots of fun. I would say it's a fairly easy room where children can get involved in every element. We only took so long due to our own stupidity and failure to check the obvious XD. Most puzzles have a fun twist or at least an element of playfulness to them and everything was very logical. Contains lots of the usual padlocks, including the dreaded directional lock.

value for moneygreat hostingfamily friendly
A very nice escape room, especially for children. The host was very helpful from start to finish, and didn't ove complicate or give touch away when we asked for a nudge. With this company, there are no leader boards, which means teams can fully appreciate the effort put into making the room.
The perfect game to end our visit to Top Escape Rooms, No Place Like Gnome was fun from start to end and was a beautifully assembled room with a lighthearted and family friendly feel to it.
