First time playing an online escape room! We bought the digital version, not the live version - 6 of us total. A lot of fun, no glitches or technical difficulties, instructions were clear and easy to follow.

One of the harder ones, but enjoyable. The clue system helped out when we were killing each other.

We really enjoyed it, but found it difficult and had to use the hints. We were 4 people and it took us just over 2.5 hours.

One thing to watch out for is that answers may be case-sensitive.

the closest to being in a real escape room

An excellent online game. The Telescape system makes it great to work with others while playing the game remotely. Strongly recommend!

Challenging and interesting. Loved it.

Great being able to look round the room and have everyone's cursors on screen together from different locations. Nearest thing to actually being in the room.

Really enjoyed it, was like actually being in a room with everyone looking around for clues.

What a great game, some really interesting puzzles there - took us 2 hours but enjoyed it fully.  Loved the mix of puzzles and how you had to work together still.  Almost as good as being in the room.  Amazing.  Would definitely play another game.

Besides getting tripped up on one puzzle, I had a great time with friends! Got out in under 90!

Really good fun and it definitely made us think and work together. Once we got used to the set up we thoroughly enjoyed it.

quite difficult

For us this was a great experience! The end puzzle had a lot of math in it (adding and subtracting many many times - nothing complicated) and it can be a bit tedious, but we are math people, so it didn't bother us.

We did have a few "that is really cool" moments in this one. One with shadows and one with latin. That is not saying too much, I think. We really liked some of the decorations - they were a bit geeky. Fun.

We took 2 hours on this in a team of two. We did feel that a bit of signposting pointing out when a puzzle was not yet relevant would have been nice. There was great signposting in some places, but because some elements gave you a lot of information that could be read in a lot of ways, this wasted a bit of time for us.

Even using 2 hours we felt that getting out was too early. Ready for more.

The inventory was visible when looking at a puzzle and worked well (This game is built on telescape). We did have a bit of lagging problems, but that might just be our computer, since it only affected one player. Otherwise the tech worked well.

Literally the mathiest mathscape room I have ever encountered.  Got to the point where everyone on the Zoom would laugh out loud when we uncovered a new puzzle and it was inevitably more math.  It was...functional, so one and a half stars.  But the puzzles were repetitive and process-heavy, the math was tedious, and we were pretty much checked out by the time we finished.  Twenty pounds is a bold amount of money to ask for this.

DEFINITELY LOTS OF BRAIN TEASERS AND INTERESTING PUZZLES.

KEPT US ON OUR TOES. THANKS A MILL. KEITH & BEA.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience! It took a little getting used to, to figure out how to input the answers, but once we did, it was a great experience! So glad I was able to play this game without having to get on a plane! Thank you!

Well put together with some really clever puzzles and surprising use of the digital platform.  Mother and I played it and it was alot of fun.  Thank you!

Clunky telescape adaptation of a fairly generic game. Too much aha-less process for my taste, and disappointingly not as joyously creative as Escape One Algarve's hosted remote offerings.

We loved this - a few puzzles really stumped us and one, I don't think we ever would have figured out - but the most part we understood where to go!

A nice science lab room in a rustic (vaguely steampunky) setting with a lot of nifty cross connected puzzles. Uses "telescape" inventory which I like.

A one room remote play room with a science theme, this was a slow room to start as we must have spent 10 minutes just guiding the avatar around the room to see everything.  Some clever ideas and some favourite old tropes, a diverting hour.

My escape room club assembled 2x teams of 4, (most accessing from separate locations) to tackle The Lab, one of the many physical-turned-virtual escape rooms now popping up. The game is played via Zoom and in English (David, the excellent host, is a Brit). There is also a separate user-pannable 360 shot you can access via the web that shows the whole layout of the room - a useful innovation. Both teams escaped within the hour - but only just. The puzzles are plentiful, varied (albeit around a central theme) and well designed as is the room set-up. Both teams took an age to get going but we accelerated as the time went on, the impending hour mark sharpening our focus. We required no hints although David helped by performing our instructions efficiently. The camera work and communication from David was excellent. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and thought the €45/session price was very reasonable given the full hour of entertainment it provided. Recommended!

Decent but not memorable.

Nothing is ever going to be quite the same as playing a physical escape room in person, but the virtual version of The Laboratory came close, and was everything I could ask for in a game: good theming, clever puzzles, and a great host. I’m only sad that I won’t get to play it in person

There were a few cleverly designed puzzle that we thoroughly enjoyed. We love puzzles, so this game was right up our alley!
