It's a shame this one is closed, it was really cool. Some fantastic moments, immersion and reasonable puzzles. A bit more creepy than I would normally go for. I notice it seems to be getting very different reviews in Gravesend and Suffolk.

2nd ever escape room! We were told it was a non actor room but unfortunately there had been a reset issue in the game and the GM had to come in during our game to resolve (granted in character) but did completely throw one of our team members off after being told no one else would be in the room! Still a good fun game to play none the less!
Unfortunately this room just felt dull and old. It looked like everything was held together with duct tape and most of the puzzles seemed illogical, or like there was other ways of solving them that were "distractions". Decoration was basic (but got the point across) but there wasn't even an attempt made to disguise plugs and speakers, leaving us at numerous times thinking "is this meant to be here". Even the reception felt scruffy and dirty. I've visited the Panic Rooms a few times before for some of their newer rooms but this has put me off going back for while now.
Your first escape room will always have a special place in your heart and The Dollhouse is what started the enthusiasm/addiction. Apart from one puzzle, requiring continuous screaming which doesn't fit the story, they're logical and fun. The scares are suggested to play with your imagination and do make you laugh. Great fun and one of The Panic Room's best
Good fun, expected a different game from the initial break out, which was incredible, great use of physical puzzles. Change direction but still an enjoyable game. One of my favourites.
Relatively run of the mill theming, you've been locked up and have to escape in 60 minutes but some clever puzzles making interesting use of props elevate this room.
Loved this room from start to finish. Scary enough but not so scary that it put you off working your way through the room. Really good start, would very much recommend.
I was so excited with this room but I don't know what happened but we had the worse gamemaster we had ever experience! They were giving us clue which either we have already done or something that we had but making zero sense of information. We wasted so much time on one puzzle because of the GM. But I must say this theming was great and creepy (not scary) some puzzle was good but some were incredibly frustrating.

If I'm ever kidnapped by a murderous psycho, at least I'll have had no shortage of practice at extricating myself from creepy dungeons! Horror games often start with the players a little more restrained than in other styles of game, and this one has one of the more imaginative such opening sequences.
The room's grizzly decor pulls no punches, and players will need to have a strong stomach at times. The Dollhouse is also probably the most search-heavy of the six rooms at The Panic Room, which (p...
A room that managed to blend concepts together. Horror and humour. The beautiful and the macabre. Some interesting puzzles and decent set design added up to a game that I found surprisingly enjoyable.
We came to The Dollhouse with a sense of trepidation. Firstly, because it looked to be the first proper horror game we had played, but more because… well we’re not that great at escape rooms. Obviously we’re pretty good, mainly because at this point we’ve done loads. But I see other bloggers knocking out leaderboard placings, 40-minute finishes and all-time records left, right and centre. Whereas we just tend to do “pretty well”.
This is probably R’s favourite Room to date. She loves a horror themed room and this certainly did not disappoint. The way you start the game is great and not to give too much away but it certainly adds to the overall experience.
