It's a shame this one is closed, it was really cool. Some fantastic moments, immersion and reasonable puzzles. A bit more creepy than I would normally go for. I notice it seems to be getting very different reviews in Gravesend and Suffolk.

I did this one quite a while ago, but I remember it was pretty atmospheric and had a couple of really nice moments. I was annoyed at one of the puzzles but wouldn't have been if I'd worked it out! Certainly could be better but I'm glad we did it.

I did this quite a while ago, and can't remember the puzzles very well. Most of them were fine, there were a couple that I thought were great. The props and theme are outstanding though, there is a level of detail and quality that put most others to shame. Plenty to think about and do, and to discuss afterwards.

Absolutely loved the theme and the props, the puzzles varied from decent to good, there was plenty to do and we had a fantastic time.

It was a while ago I did this one, I remember it being ok but nothing special. There definitely isn't enough for 6 players to do, it should be advertised as 2-5. Some of the puzzles don't make a huge amount of sense, so it's difficult for a team to discuss them. The theme was implemented well enough to make it a bit of a giggle just being in the room.

This was my favourite room at Lockhouse, there's enough quality props and tech to make it feel like a treat, and the puzzles were tricky enough to get us talking for quite a while. A little bit corny but I don't mind.

We loved this one, some really clever and well executed puzzles, and an unusual thoughtful theme. There are a couple of props that we still talk about often, over 4 years since doing the room. Sad to hear some other reviewers complaining about poor hosting recently.

I love the Sherlock Holmes theme, and there were a lot of fun props and references here. It isn't very imaginative or inspiring though, you are really just going through about 20 numerical padlocks. The 2 or 3 puzzles which didn't use padlocks were clunky and obtuse. It's also not clear why you're playing Moriarty in this room, surely everyone fantasizes about being Sherlock?

The hosts were very nice, which is the only reason I haven't given this a 1. The decoration and puzzles were very poor, and the theme falls flat. The centrepiece is a big "ball in a maze" puzzle which goes on too long when you finally unlock it. Can't recommend it at all.

Such a great room! Go out of your way to try this one. The only problem with it is that I measure other rooms by this standard now.
