The zombie apocalypse moved surprisingly fast.
It’s been months since a nuclear accident created a mutated strain of the common cold, unleashing an undead epidemic that spread like wildfire. Billions are undead, society as we know it is gone, and the last survivors huddle in colonies where every day, the living learn to envy the dead. One by one, the last bastions of humanity are being overrun.
But there are rumours of a cure. Wandering madmen, insane with desperation spread word of a research facility that might be mankind’s last hope, hidden in the most frozen reaches of the deadliest place on earth.
Canada.
You and your team are the human race’s last chance. Infiltrate the polar outpost, find the cure, and release it to save humanity.

But be quick. Zombies eat your brain in 60 minutes.

…They’re reliable like that.

Ok game - think it works better IRL. Set looks incredible.

I think this would be a very cool room in person.  There are some very imaginative puzzles that involved using senses other than vision, so they didn't really translate into the online experience.  Also, being in a basement, there were a few connection issues, and it would have been preferable if the lighting had been a bit better.  The image quality was really not great.  Nonetheless the inventory system helped make everything still work, and we enjoyed the experience.  We really like the GM who was pleasant and had lots of energy.

Good variety of puzzles.  Probably more fun to play-at-home than in person, unlike their other offerings.

Decent set, avatar did a great job, but felt pretty middle of the road overall. I really liked the inventory system, and haven't played the other games from this venue.

The witty title gives it away so no prizes for guessing the premise of this game - with a zombie apocalypse underway, deep in the frozen Ontario countryside lies a research station that might just contain what you need to find a cure and save humanity. Our gamemaster and avatar was the last survivor of a search party, who needed our help to get inside the lab and find the critical research. Although zombie-themed, this game is occasionally gruesome only in a mild way, and doesn't particularly se...

Can you have wholesome family friendly zombie fun? Apparently you can at Improbable Escapes. Unless of course, you’re concerned about a few severed limbs. I have little doubt that Cure for the Common Zombie would be better in person than remotely, but even online it was still good fun
To zombie, or not to zombie? That is the question.
