Your friend has travelled the world investigating great conspiracy theories - from the pyramids to JFK. He has vanished, no doubt because of the secrets he has uncovered. It's your job to search his house to find out what he discovered that got him in so much trouble - can you finish his work and uncover the ultimate mystery? He was a paranoid guy, I bet his covered his tracks quite well...

Very atmospheric with some clever puzzles. We were warned we might find it quite tricky but due to the way our brains work we got on fine. Great hosts. Thank you.

Great game, very original theme. Some really tricky and sneaky puzzles but we really enjoyed it!
Played this is a team of two I really enjoyed the story and the puzzles there were some very creative things here, however it did feel like there was potentially a lot to do for two people and some puzzles left us banging our heads.
Would definitely recommend this room for new and experienced players

Very interesting game - as others have mentioned, the first half just flies by and the second involves a bit more head-scratching. The one thing that lets this room down is a physical puzzle that is irritatingly difficult to complete due to flawed tech. We were offered to bypass this element for a penalty, but I'm too stubborn for that and we escaped with just 4.5 minutes to spare! Would be 1000% better if the physical puzzle was just slightly simplified and the tech worked.
Surprisingly, we've not played an entirely-themed conspiracy game before and these covers several of those bases. Good mix of search/logic/skill - clear flow in the first half, a couple of mental/search blocks for us later in the game caused a little frustration on our part, but this was more on our own abilities rather than the game - would recommend if in the area, owner happy to spend time chatting about the game design/games generally at the end also.

If I had to pick a game at Want to Escape that was the most โtraditionalโ in the style of escape rooms, it would be Conspiracist, and I loved it because of it.
I wasnโt prepared for just how good this room turned out to be. Youโre in the study of your friend, the missing Conspiracy Theorist, and you have to retrieve the mystical egg (donโt laugh, itโs a very nice egg)...
