The host was running 3 rooms at the same time so our clues were quite slow coming through. We were rushed out of the room for the next group.

Set in an actual courtroom, we had high hopes for this game as visually it is amazing. Unfortunately it's pretty dull, no reveals as such and no a-ha moments. Such a great space is sadly wasted. We were also 'successful' but in my eyes we weren't as there are two ways to interpret the game ending. Unsatisfying.

End game ruined it for me. Classed as successful escape but didn't complete the bonus despite having 15 minutes left. Doesn't quite sit right with me. Feel like had 15 minutes stolen from me.

immersive

Immersive when you take into account youโ€™re in an old courtroom. For two people however the space is HUGE! We had completed the main game but thereโ€™s also a surprise element or secondary objective at the end of the game which โ€œtechnicallyโ€ resulted in failing the room if not achieved in time. Only thing is, your time remaining is null and void as the task has a time limit of (I believe) 3 minutesโ€ฆ we had over 20 minutes remaining. Felt a bit cheated. Hence why I class myself as successfully escaping.

Like their Prison room where you start off locked in an actual cell, this room takes place in the actual court room that was used for real.  The Sherlock theming is potentially tenuous but there is a progression of puzzles, some are quite easy luring you into an aura of self confidence.   Its easy to get bogged down and there a couple of leaps of logic needed to solve the game.  Our host way Jayne who hinted us expertly throughout.
