You are abruptly awoken in the middle of night by shrieking sirens, the entire prison has been put on lock-down. You hear crazed voices echoing through the empty hallways, a stampede of guards clatter against the concrete, as cast iron bars rattle from every direction. Reality hits you, a memory of over-hearing one of the gangs speaking about an escape plan becomes your central thought. You hear the door to your block burst open, the guard screams and then silence. You suspect the guard has been knocked out cold, you know if there ever was a chance for you to escape, now is your time.
With completely new puzzles, theming and story-line, “Alcatraz 2.0” is re-playable for those who have played the original “Alcatraz” game.

So, my fastest ever completion but I came out of this room with a huge grin on my face.  As its prison themed, expect a split start and then a mostly linear game that probably won't cause enthusiasts any problems, this is almost a greatest hits of escape rooms and I wonder if thats why I enjoyed it so much (indeed I enjoyed this room the most from this company against some other more more high-tech solutions).  Go as a 2, 3 at most (to fill the 3rd cell) and just enjoy the flow.

Very cool escape! Bags over the head and locked up to start! Gives it extra atmosphere and an extra challenge! Quite a few red herrings here which makes it seem like there is a lot to do for two people. Some tricky puzzles too

A fairly easy room (for me, at least) with a solid theme and some good puzzles among the padlocks.
