First and foremost we have got to give a massive shoutout to Maxime from Immersia, one of the lovely co-owners. The Grand Immersia Hotel was something we have NEVER even come close to experiencing in Europe, the opening few moments, actors (thanks Chloe!) and amazing set design really make Immersia live up to its name. Talking about it without spoilers is hard but well worth the visit!

This is by far and away our favourite escape room we’ve ever done. Discussing it without spoilers is hard but safe to say that this is the most immersive, story driven and remarkable escape room we’ve completed. The set is something that looks like it should belong in a movie and is sprawling, detailed and intricate. Fabulous in character GMing from Adrianne. Definitely worth the trip to Montreal!

Very innovative with a cool main set piece that plays a role throughout the entire experience. At time really quite difficult with some particularly difficult (borderline illogical) puzzles but some which just require going back to basics (looking around the room, making sure you've felt everything!). 3 people felt like the perfect number.

We were very lucky to have a great host (Javier) who gave us just the right amount of help for us to escape with just over a minute to spare!

My favourite escape room of all time. Set inside of a genuine labyrinth with high walls and disturbing ambience (including sound effects and our GM periodically whispering creepy things over the tannoy). Completely set in the dark so requiring us to use head torches. Doors that would close randomly and pits of things you are scared will contain snakes. Closest I've ever come to not escaping (got out with 14 seconds to spare!!)

One of my all time favourites. Beautiful and immersive Victorian theme (Sherlock-esq) production design with a twist & surprise that made me gasp audibly and shriek with childish excitement. One of the all time great endings.

I have such fond memories of this escape room, it was STUNNING for starters with some beautiful production design of the various different areas (no spoilers!). There were some awesome uses of technology and space/verticality and was an absolute standout for me at the time.

My first ever escape room and the best of memories (although I see it's sadly now closed). An awesome 3 room adventure with a cool centrepiece and great props (white coat and guns really made it immersive!)

I remember liking this one, non-linear enough to keep a team of 5 occupied separately with some interesting puzzles and unique ideas. Cool technology as well. The old vet school setting really adds to the ambience!

Great use of space with excellent atmosphere. Very linear but puzzles (especially at the end) required more brain power than other rooms but with a satisfying conclusion. Great introduction from Stephen (GM) with a clunky help system (via tablet) that we didn't end up using at all

Edinburgh Escape reality's hardest room and we happily made it out with their 6th fastest time this season!
