February may be a short month, but it’s been a busy one for new UK escape rooms. Here’s the rundown:
Greater London
🔒 Escape London will soon open a fourth branch in London, this time in Islington. The address might look familiar – it looks like they’ve taken over the old Breakin’ Escape venue, and will be bringing back their game Flying Dutchman. They’ll also open Alice (also available in Leicester, and originally designed by CyberQ), plus two of the chain’s stalwarts, 221 Baker Street and Magic Emporium.
🔒 RADA have a new pop-up game, open 9th to 21st Match only, called Little’s Lost Letter. Naturally, all slots are already gone.
🔒 The Briefcase by Screamworks opens soon; this one seems to not be a horror theme, and is instead a fast-paced spy caper.
South East England
🔒 Puzzalogical in Bracknell is now being operated by Pier Pressure; the same physical rooms and VR experiences are available as before.
🔒 Sip and Solve by Other World Escapes in Portsmouth have a new 15 min puzzle pod, with a gory theme: this one is Serial Killer.
Also new, from last month’s update:
🔒 Escape3600 Maidenhead: Jurassic Island
Channel Islands
🔒 Open at MTG Escapes in Guernsey for two months only, Jurassic Parked is a dino adventure set in a mobile trailer.
South West England
🔒 Bournemouth’s Arcadia Escape Rooms (who took over what used to be U-Escape) opened new serial killer room Slaughter House.
🔒 DreadLock Escape Rooms are running a special escape event on an actual moving steam train, on Bodmin Railway. All slots for Out of Steam on 21st Mar and 16th May sold out pretty much instantly, but perhaps keep an eye out in case they arrange additional dates.
🔒 Following the company’s preference for single-word titles for their games, Dig is a dino archaeology room at Escapism Plymouth, opening later in March.
🔒 Hidden Valley Discovery Park in Launceston has a mini escape room called The Study amongst its attractions, with a bite-size 6-15min play time.

There isn’t an option to book on the website (or indeed any mention of it), but according to the Facebook announcement it can be booked at the park’s reception.
🔒 Newport’s Exit60 has transferred ownership to The Escape Rooms – yes, the same company previously at Griffin St, who are also currently building two new rooms at The Corn Exchange.
West Midlands
🔒 Breakout Escape Experience is the escape room section of the FunStation leisure chain, and they’ve now launched four rooms at Merry Hill Shopping Centre: Da Vinci, Dracula’s Castle, Gates of Atlantis, and Temple of Doom.
🔒 Chase The Adventure in Stone might just have come up with the creepiest name for a mine adventure game yet. In Be Mine Forever you’re venturing into an 1940s mine that might possibly contain something evil in the dark.
