Great unlock game. Has a good mechanic. A little difficult for an ‘easy’ game.

In each set of games Unlock! releases, the third game has always been the one rated with the highest difficulty, has been the most innovative and ambitious in design, and - so far - has been my favourite of the box. Expedition: Challenger continues that trend on all three points while still suffering from several weaknesses; the Exotic Adventures box impressed me less than its predecessors, and if Challenger is the best of the three games in it, that's mainly thanks to the low bar set by the oth...

Second in Unlock!'s Exotic Adventures set, Scheherazade's Last Tale dives into the mythology of Arabian nights, with the premise that Scheherazade has run out of inspiration on her final night, and needs you to save her. It's a romantic and distinctive setting that's reflected well in the artwork and audio, as well as in a great many nods to the most famous of the tales; so it's a shame that it's hard to enjoy the story amid the flurry of dead ends and logic leaps the game throws in your path.

Unlock! are nothing if not experimental. I imagine it's due to the variety of designers involved, typically a different designer for each game, but the way each game is distinctive not just in presentation but in gameplay is one of the series's particular strengths - although that comes with the drawback of inconsistent style of play.

Each set of three games tends to come with a spread of difficulties, and Boogeymen is the game rated 'easy' in the Exotic Adventures set. (Yes, they're clearly ru...

Scheherazade’s Last Tale felt like a marriage of the story of Scheherazade and Disney’s Aladdin. This story-driven puzzle adventure was a romp through a family-friendly take on Arabian mythology. It was a fun and fresh world for puzzling.
The Night of The Boogeymen is as good as Unlock! and table top escape games have gotten for me so far. I loved playing this game… and we’re not going to give away our copy (like we normally do) because one day I’m going to forget the puzzles and I’ll replay it.
1,001 tales to be told, as long as the princess finds a scribe to write them for her.
Don’t worry kids! That Boogeyman under your bed isn’t real. But the ones in your closet, hiding in that shadow and lurking outside your window totally want to eat you. And that big one in your nightmares? Yeah – he’s the worst Boogeyman of them all.
Yes, we did manage to complete the game but we were not a excited as we should have been. The constant penalisation became frustrating and spoilt the fun of the game.
The game contained plenty of challenges, plus a new feature called Constraints. These red text boxes revealed a constraint to game play that was unique to the boogeyman being sought. Only when you found the monster did the negative effects come into play. These didn’t add anything to the game, other than cause frustration and we recommend ignoring these cards.
The Unlock! Team is back. This time you’ll be entering the horrific night fears of a child who needs your help beating not one, but SEVERAL Boogeymen!
In this adventure, your team journeys back to a deep, dark, land to undo a curse that’s been placed on an artifact in your possession… can you figure out how to get there and solve the mysteries in time?!
Come, sit by the fire and listen to the final tale of Scheherazade. But be warned, this story may take you on an adventure you won’t soon forget!
