Very immersive room. Some really terrible puzzles and some of the tech didn’t work. Gamesmasters we’re watching several rooms at the same time so didn’t know where we were in the game when we needed a clue.
Very effective creepy serial decor, sustained throughout, with plenty of gruesome touches (though without any true jump scares). One puzzle was difficult to see properly in the low light, but otherwise the game play was smooth and flowed well. Not for the super squeamish but an overall very good game.
I guess the immersion would be my first remark. The starting place for this game really took note of the films this room is based on and put me on edge from the offset.
As with a lot of the rooms here, there weren't many puzzles to get your teeth into and for larger groups, a lot of people would be stoke around waiting for the next part.
Some puzzles were very flawed and caused a lot of frustration due to the quality of the puzzle. Very hard to see things and the GM ended up having to come into the room to give us another way of completing one of the puzzles because it just wasn't feasible to complete the way it was intended.
If thememing and immersion is your thing, then 100% make sure you give this ago. If you're looking for puzzles, give one of the others a try
