EO Escape Rooms: The Karma Club

So much fun and really felt like we were in a dodgy nightclub. A lot to do and we were a bit frantic working it all out but that is all part of the fun. Excellent hosting. 

Second room of the day here and this one did not disappoint either. A chaotic room, in the best possible way, as in there was loads to do! Definitely a bit more a challenge with just 2 of us, but still managed a successful escape. Again the hosts were incredible and the theming was spot on. Another super fun, well designed room.

Wow, what an adventure. There was definitely a sense of sensory overload in this room, but in the best way possible! This was a really fun game and another outstanding effort from EO! Can't wait for the next adventure! 

My partner and I love the games at EO and we were looking forward to coming back to play this one when it had opened. Despite not being our favourite kind of theme, we enjoyed the game. As always, there was a good variety of puzzles and a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit!

EO Escape's Karma Club room was an absolute blast! The lively atmosphere, decked out with neon lights and funky decor, created a really fun evening - it felt like we were on a night out! Guided by Kelly the GM, the puzzles seamlessly merged brain teasers with dance-floor vibes. The grand finale, accompanied by disco lights and music, capped off the night with an exhilarating twist. A really good escape room experience that was different from other rooms we've played and a great mix of puzzles and a party feel. Although we didn't get out - it was really good fun.

Brilliant and original escape room from EO. We'll thought out and great fun to play. Highly recommended! Great for a group of friends, colleagues or family.

This is my favourite Escape room! Clever and really feels like you’re at a nightclub..probably would have escaped quicker if I didn’t keep breaking out into dance routines (not part of the game but hard not to feel like dancing!). Really clever and thought out and super fun evening out with friends

So enjoyable! Had so much fun with friends loved the puzzles as well as very good music taste . Didn’t want it to end. 

Simply a great game wrapped up in a cheese fuelled soundtrack. Loved every moment of this game!

As per all EO games there’s a lot to be getting on with and multiple opportunities to divide and conquer. We enjoyed how different puzzles in the games brought us together to solve whilst others could be done in tandem. 

The set looked incredible and felt like a proper nightclub (minus the sticky floor as mentioned by another reviewer!). It was hard not to sing and dance too much whilst solving. 

Some great use of technology in this game which amplified the experience. 

Easily my favourite at this venue and I’m excited to go back for Keyper’s secret and their upcoming Xmas game. 

What a fun way to spend an hour. Clever puzzles that all just seem to flow. Set to a fantastic sound track that makes you want to get your dancing shoes on.  Grab your friends and relive your youth!

I loved Karma club! Along with the excellent hosting from Kelly, who knew exactly how to banter with us before we went in the room, the game was amazing! So much fun, with lots of different puzzles to be getting on with! 

Back to EO we went for our 3rd trip and our 150th escape room! After our expected and enjoyable catch up with Kelly and rich we headed round to the entrance to the Karma Club! We were greeted with a decision before we even stepped foot in the room which really got us in the mood and then off we went! If I was to say this was as immersive as you’ll find in the escape world then I’d be understating it! Another mix of clever and well designed puzzles along with some banging tunes to really flow your way through the game and story! We finally made our escape and we’re greeted by rich and Kelly with a box of sweets (which were actually hidden in the game and we found on the way) and an EO T shirt in congratulations for our 150th game! We can’t thank them enough for their hospitality when we visit! It always feels like catching up with old friends and we love it! Please if you haven’t already visit! 

I do love a room with an epic soundtrack! This is a great room for teams as everyone can work on something and if you're stuck you can move on. Brilliant theme too, loved it.

Loved this game! Perfect balance of puzzles. Literally can’t fault it. The vibe for this room is spot on and the feel good moments kept flowing. We clicked really well with this game and didn’t want it to end. Kelly is a very gifted writer and her passion really shows in her rooms, especially this one! 

This is the last room we have done at Sudbury and I am torn between this one and Scary Tale being my favourite 😁

You can’t help but dance and sing along in this one  which makes this enjoyable. 

For all Escape room junkies out there you have to try this one! 

And thanks Kelly for always being the hostess with the mostest! 

Thankfully, my night clubbing days are long behind me but I would happily return to the Karma club!  Breaking into a nightclub to steal back your own record is only the start.  Once again, the theming is on point (maybe the floor could do with some 'stickyness' for that authentic feeling...  There are some truly hilarious moments combined with some very clever puzzlework.  There's a lot to do but the signposting is excellent, rarely were we standing around wondering what to do next or where we should be looking.  The soundtrack was just the proverbial cherry on top.  Rock on indeed...

Such a fun room, lots to keep us busy with the best soundtrack and some really fun puzzles.

Hosting was outstanding as always!

With the newest room at EO testing last time we were there, of course on our mop up we had to play this room last... and boy was it worth the wait. It certainly crashes into my top 3 rooms on account of the playstyle and logic that is present in the room, with some VERY thematic puzzles which just fitted so perfectly together. 

As with all EO games, this is an absolutely superb room! This room is great fun, thoroughly original, densely packed with a wide variety of puzzles - and is sure to elicit more than a few chuckles (and perhaps some dancing!). Experienced players will appreciate where a few "classic" rules are broken and some particularly novel approaches. Looks good, the puzzles flow smoothly, the narrative ties in really well to the room and puzzles, it has a lovely GM (thanks Kelly!), and we loved every minute of it!

The karma club is an amazing room and definitely very different to other rooms I've played previously. The lights, music and elements work perfectly and the story telling by Kelly is second to none. Once again I'm blown away by the work and effort put into these rooms by all the staff at EO. I can't wait for the next room for me to try.
