Absolutely amazing hosting from all of the staff, if you've been you know what I mean!
However the game it's self was a little start and stop and felt a little disjointed. There's a element that felt clever and very central to the theme, but we did have a few issues with this item.
The hosting is traditionally very good with an actor at the beginning. There are few clever and creative puzzles, however, it is based on too many locks (e.g. compared to prison break which was more immersive with more versatile puzzles). There are a few puzzles which are annoying and a lot of references where you have to go back to all the previous clues. The storyline does not hold too well as most of the puzzles towards the end become quite unrelated to the theme. However, the setting, hosting and some of the high-quality puzzles still hold the quality of the room.

Bunker 17
FĂŒr 30 EUR p.P. ist dieser SpaĂ nicht ganz billig, lohnt sich aberThis game works well online, mainly due to Alex the host who keeps in character throughout and conveys a real sense or urgency and panic through to the players. This comes across so well that it is infections and our team found themselves also feeling the urgency which invests the players more into the game.
There is extensive use of telescape for the inventory, but the game is playable with minimal interaction with the second screen (we preferred being 'in the room' rathern than on telescape).
Nicely themed room and puzzles and an excellent use of one key prop makes this game a must play.

Fox in a Box has grown into a significant international franchise, but until now I'd never quite managed to play one of their rooms. The branch in Munich seemed like a good chance to change that, and we booked into their Bunker 17 game.
The bunker in question is the Cold War era hideout of one Mr. Fox, who has decided to end his life along with most of humanity by triggering nuclear Armageddon. This translates into plenty of combat gear and Soviet insignia, and a tendency for the puzzles to use...
Virtual Bunker is Fox in a Box Londonâs adaptation of their real life escape room of the same name, minus the âvirtualâ part of course, and they adapt the game for an online audience in a really creative way! For starters, they use both a live actor via Zoom and a digital online interface (Telescape) to collect, log and examine various areas of the room up close.
