Every year, Santa practices his "chimney falling technique". Last night, he ate too many mince pies and it threw him off balance, making him hit his head inside the fireplace.  So now, Santa cannot remember where he has hidden the naughty or nice list for this year!  Mrs. Claus decided to hire the top rated festive detectives in all the world to help him find it (that's you)! Complete the puzzles and Christmas Challenges to find the naughty or nice list (and to see if you made the cut this year).

Clearly a portable game re-purposed for online use.  Very nice GM and good integration of Christmas elements.  As is often the case with non-linear games, we spent quite a bit of time trying to puzzle out clues whose purpose was crystal clear once other elements were uncovered.  Appreciated the personalized element, and am sure that kids would love it (although as overly task oriented middle aged people we were a bit grumpy that it didn't fit into actually moving towards the solution).

Out in 53 mins but we werenโ€™t rushing really.  Really liked the personalisation in the game and the interactivity. Some good puzzles and work has gone into making the puzzles work well and look good. Artwork on the walls was described as โ€œVan Goghโ€ (at least it wasnโ€™t all Picasso!). Liked the Christmas jumper too....

Fun, Christmas themed avatar game, somewhere between an escape box and room and good puzzles.

I play-tested this room, and it's my favourite Christmas themed room so far. It is semi puzzle-box, but there's enough extra stuff going on that it feels a lot more advanced than a puzzle box. Great value for money too.

I competely loved this game, from the character of Bob to the inventiveness of the puzzles to the fun and colour and everything festive about each and every puzzle. Its just what I wanted from a Christmas room, a fun experience but warm and fuzzy, kinda like an escape room version of your favourite Christmas jumper.
Joel (sorry.. Bob!) does a great job at keeping in theme and is wonderful at subtely clueing you with camera work. A great family game, its a must play.

At last count the 2020 season had 14 Christmas-themed remote avatar style escape games available; enough to do one for each of the 12 days of Christmas but not enough for an advent calendar. Headlock's game was the first of those I tried, and is somewhere between a room and a puzzle box, with items of interest being arrayed along an area of wall. Since I am as ever many weeks behind on my review backlog, at time of posting Christmas is long past and the game is no longer available, so this will ...

This is 100% a family friendly game, and if youโ€™re looking for some festive fun to get you in the Christmas mood, then this will make for a Cracking Christmas (see what we did there?)

Fabulously festive and a wonderful hour spent over Zoom with friends I may not have otherwise seen this Christmas. Headlock Escape Rooms have perfected the art of puzzlebox escape rooms via Zoom! Although this game was originally designed to be posted to players, the online / digital format still works beautifully and makes an all round fantastic game. Cracking Christmas is not to be missed!
