The setting of this escape room was very different, being based on an old bus. It was a strong concept, wonderfully decorated and the hosting was good. However the puzzles were limited and quite simple. There were multiple moments where we all waiting on someone to complete a single puzzle and no one could move on to anything else until it was done which somewhat impacted the flow and experience.
Idea was good but room very small and felt it lacked variation. Worth playing but not a memorable one for us.
Excellent non-linear room. Really good theme and well-built room. Very original.
Largely observational and physical puzzles - not much logic. Usually I wouldn’t be a fan of this, but in the case of Dino Deadlock that isn’t the case as the puzzles were made really well.
Would definitely rcommend!
The set on this one is fantastic, so much time and effort has gone into decorating the bus and it pays off. Kids will definitely enjoy it.
The puzzles are physical and can be time consuming so not ideal for a small team or if you prefer more logical puzzles.
This escape room is very original, based in a converted bus. All puzzles are on theme, mostly physical puzzles so great if if bringing small humans! We normally like more logic based and difficult puzzles but this room was so immersive would recommend for even veteran escape-roomies!
Cool premise and environment but quite cramped for the four of us. We had assumed the puzzle was linear because some of the puzzles seemed to have aspects missing in order for us to crack them but turned out we just needed to use our brain more.
Good room, interesting theme and really well created. Fun tech and a good experience.
Fantastic design with an amazing ending! If you like Crystal Maze, this is your type of game.
Great set design!
We played this on a hot day and were very glad of the air conditioning. The bus setting was so brilliantly done, as were the many unique elements found in this room that we've never seen anywhere else.
The host made us laugh and we had a great chat before and afterwards about this and other games.
You do require an element of physical skill (though not strength) for some parts of this game - it's not purely cerebral!
We all liked the fact it was clear what end goal you were ultimately working to, and there were a variety of challenges allowing everyone in the team to shine.
Fantastic fun! Very well designed, enjoyably non linear, no too hard, but enough difficulty to keep you interested. Brilliant job
Loved it!
An impressive set and a slightly longer experience makes this the better of their two rooms in my opinion. We enjoyed it.
Highly original - the set looks and feels incredible. All of the puzzles are in theme and provided some lovely aha moments. Something for everyone in terms of puzzle types - non linear too which works for more experienced teams.
Very enjoyable room. The puzzles were a good combination and challenged us to the perfect level. The setting of the room was perfect and very immersive. It was really cleverly done. We thought it was one of the best we have done so far!
The moment you step on-board the bus Dino Deadlock is set on, you'll see why there is so much hype behind this game. It is beautifully themed and really nails the 'Jurassic Park Research Lab' vibe. Considering the fact it's within a single floor bus, that's incredibly impressive. On top of the immersive theming, there are some really enjoyable puzzles. There are a good mix of logic puzzles, alongside some exploration and physical tasks. There's something for everyone and all of the puzzles are incredibly good fun. I think fun is the best way to describe the room. It left us with a huge smile on our faces. To top it all off we had the most amazing host. I would definitely recommend this room. It's visually stunning, has some really enjoyable puzzles and is just so unique simply due to the fact it's on a bus.
A really fun escape room with a clever and fun theme. Friendly staff and warm welcome. A good mix of dexterity, deduction and discovery! Recommended whole heartedly!
I loved that this room felt like it had been inspired by the original Jurassic Park novels (I am a huge fan!), rather than just trying to rip off the films. Everything in the bus felt very much in line with this theme and I can see how much effort has been put into creating this. The ending is also superb.
The thing that let this room down for us slightly was that some of the puzzles were time-consuming and frustrating! There was also one I would be interested to hear if people ever completed without hints.
Still - if you want to live out your childhood fantasy of being Dr Ellie Sattler or Dr Ian Malcolm for an hour, I would highly recommend.
