In recent months a mysterious serial killer, who identifies himself as β€œThe Revolutionary”, has committed four ghastly murders around Ireland. Today more victims have been captured and are currently being held in a closet in his makeshift lair. Luckily the victims are easy to locate thanks to cell phone GPS technology and a group of brave individuals have arrived at the lair to attempt a rescue. Always one step ahead, The Revolutionary has set a trap just inside the front door and now the rescuers are also trapped in a closet inside his lair. In 60 minutes The Revolutionary will return to commit his fifth gruesome crime, unless the victims and rescuers can escape the serial killer’s lair.

We really like the atmosphere set by Incognito, the hosts are very friendly and the reception room is bright and welcoming, it's a company I'll really like to visit again in the future. πŸ™‚

The Cabin in the Woods room (that I kept calling "The Abandonned Cabin") was really well themed, with full darkness and creeking floor throughout, you know what the story is and you understand where the story is taking you. All the puzzles are following the theme and they use a lot of technology that makes the room very hands-on and not too padlock heavy. We escaped in 40 minutes with 0 clues, so the room MIGHT be a bit too easy as it felt the amount of puzzles would not fill a full hour for a standard group.

Speaking of which, the room is bookable for up to 10 players. Do not book for a group of 10, four or five would be the maximum amount of players this room would be enjoyable, more and you will feel squeezed and useless as it's still a quite linear room. (I feel like I'm seeing this a lot in cities where stag/hen do are popular, the escape room companies open the room for big groups of people to attract them even though their room is not suitable for a high number of visitors).

Incognito hosts were really friendly and welcoming but they do their room introduction inside the room which breaks the immersion. While it's not too much an issue in their Baker Street room, it's more remarkabe in the Cabin room as you're meant to be taken prisonner by the serial killer. Great company, looking forward to try their new Game of Thrones room opening soon! πŸ™‚
