Great nods to the film 'Big' of which this room is loosely based and some really fun moments throughout. Nostalgia fuelled too which is a +

Really enjoyed this game, it isn’t necessarily the most mentally challenging game, but there is lots to do and is great fun! There are a couple of physical/skill challenges in it that won’t be to everyone’s taste. GM and owner were really welcoming and lovely to talk to and happy to accommodate us as a walk in.

Very immersive and just good fun. Made me feel like a big kid. Loved the originality of some of the puzzles and the hosts were great. Thank you.

We played as a group of two and had a really great time. I did feel some puzzles was slightly disproportionate to the amount of time we had in the room, but nevertheless he still really enjoyed the game.

I did quite enjoy the theme as it is completely unique and if you've seen the film big that you'll enjoy all the references that are inside.

Played as a group of 2 adults and had a ball playing this game. Very nostalgic which I loved! Lots of physical puzzles, some that do involve skill and general perseverance after quite a bit of frustration. The theme was very unique which was a breath of fresh air!

As others have mentioned, there is a physical puzzle that is flawed, and it gets frustrating spending ages trying to complete it! We had to bypass the puzzle in the end to progress with a penalty added to our time. IMHO, if it's so frustrating that it makes people want to attack it with a baseball bat, consider a different puzzle!

Had been meaning to pay these guys a visit having played their old venue near Cambridge before - and this turned out to be Game #100 for me. Very on theme with the child's room and the puzzles and a nice mix of skill and puzzle games. A good one for the whole family to enjoy as nothing too tough. Finished (just) in the allotted time, although did end up bypassing one skill puzzle due to own ineptitude and had one search fail for which we needed a clue. Solid fun, lovely enthusiast owner, also kind enough to provide an Escake at the end despite no prior warning of the #100 status.

I’m a sucker for rooms that play on 80s nostalgia so it was probably a given that I would like this game. If you’re looking for a light-hearted game, then for sheer fun you’ll be hard pressed to find something more appropriate than Shimmy Shimmy.
If Conspiracist is a complex headscratching composition with myriad strands and a slightly sinister edge then SSCP is a joyous wodge of bubblegum pop, to get you skipping about, despite yourself, wearing a big goofy grin.
The 80’s themed Shimmy Shimmy Cocoa Pop is a fun packed hour that will be a trip down memory lane for many! Rate the Escapes review this playful escape room.
