When digging the footings to build Princess Quay Shopping Centre in Hull a vault was found. The greatest scholars of the day were brought in to uncover the meaning of what had been found. One name started to be mentioned by the scholarsβ¦β¦.Dracula! Is this the long lost Castle Dracula? Many associations are made with Dracula and Whitby but this questions these ideas and Hull is the centre for many Dracula/vampire mysteries?

A fun room that follows a great narrative through to a satisfying conclusion. Puzzles are varied, a couple we had never seen before and thought were really cool!
Great hosting over all three games played at the venue.

We don't normally do creepy escape rooms, but after visiting the other two Enigma rooms in Hull we wanted to do this one. It isn't as good as the other two, but we enjoyed the experience all the same! The host was brilliant as always, and the room itself was set up in a very creepy way. My wife and I have overactive imaginations, so you can imagine what we were like in a room like this! Overall, this is a good experience with good puzzles and a creepy vibe throughout, but if you're looking for the wow factor then visit the Chocolate Factory one!
This room didnβt flow very well and the puzzles were quite confused in places. It felt like whilst the dressing was good the gameplay let it down and this could have been done so much better. The worst enigma rooms room weβve done to date - only mention as the rest of theirs have been fantastic sofar.
We did this room straight after the Impact room, Draculas Tomb being the first the host had made and Impact the last. You could tell mainly due to production value but dont let that put you off. It was still a very nice room, well made and good well thought out puzzles. I just wish I had done them the opposite way round, so I wasnt still revelling in Impacts glory. If you can, do all the games at Enigma Hull, worth every penny.

Yβin there, Drac?
Having loved Escape The Chocolate Factory, I
brought my dad/brother back here to tackle Draculaβs Tomb for a birthday
escape.
Story
Investigate the underground vault that has been
discovered during the construction of Princes Quay. Rumour has it a certain
vampire may be residing here.
Puzzles
The puzzles had some other-worldly elements to
them. They fit the theme and were relatively easy, though we did need one or
two hints.
Mise-en-scene
I liked the gloomy, uncanny atmosphere in the room.
Props and other paraphernalia were befitting.
Final Comments
We had the same host as last time who remains
amiable and passionate about their rooms.

Another one from Enigma that hits the mark. Again, not what I was expecting to walk into, but still had everything the story needed. A great room for any Dracula fan. This room is creepy, I feel the only thing that scared us was ourselves, the room had enough set and such to make it feel creepy without having all the jump scares to make you need clean underwear. This settles the fact that Enigma Hull does NOT have a bad game. All rooms there are fantastic, and always so immersive.
