Whilst sailing the seven seas on a quest for fame and fortune, your ship gets raided… by pirates!
A skirmish breaks out and despite your best efforts, the pirates board your ship and plunder your treasure! You try to keep your ship together but it’s too late, you’re knocked unconscious by one of the scallywags.
On awakening, you find yourself locked in the brig with a few of your crew mates on board the enemy’s galleon. To your surprise, there appears to be no-one else on board… alive. All you can hear is the distant rumble of a fast approaching storm.
Can you break out of your cell, steer the ship to safety and find your missing loot all before the time runs out?

Very good and fun, especially the bit with the <REDACTED>, or the other bit with <SPOILERS>. Lots of interesting puzzles. Everything was very thematic. Just very good.

A hidden gem of a room tucked away in the Welsh countryside in an old workhouse building. There are plenty of padlocks, incredibly logical puzzles and one additional delightful element to keep beginners and experts alike very happy indeed.
Fantastic game in an out of the way location in rural Wales. Dropped in on the way to the Welsh coast based on the reviews and so glad we did so. Very immersive, very logical and so enjoyable. Really looking forward to their next room. Don't miss this if you are anywhere nearby.

What an amazing thing to find down a muddy lane in an old workhouse. Amazingly well themed, some really well integrated technology that most escape rooms seem to shy away from for fear of reliability issues. Some good puzzles, and some nice surprises.
This venue is so out in the sticks, and currently with only one room, I think it would be easy to overlook it if you were an enthusiast looking for a day out, but this one is 100 percent worth a detour for. Loved it.

Really immersive room with great set dressing and lots of puzzles. Best interior we have visited, with lots of pirate ship features. Really good combination of physical puzzles and mental skills and lots to do. Had a range of original features and elements which we had not seen before. Well hosted, and as it’s a 1 room venue you have the hosts full attention.Location is remote, but larger venue well worth a visit as well.
If you're in the area, I highly recommend you play Escape from the Cursed Galleon. Our team of four was a good number to tackle the room, though I'd say that's should be the max. I'd say a duo of experienced players could take it on in time too.
And when you're there, see if you can find the Armchair Escapist logo!
