Ben Young was investigating a number of reported supernatural sightings when he went missing. Tracking his last known whereabouts, you find yourself locked in a cabin in the woods. But all is not as it seems. Ben Young has left you an encrypted message that might just explain what has happened to him. You have 60 minutes to search the cabin, follow the clues and crack the code to solve the mystery, ultimately leading to your escape.
Locked in the cabin, so easy to scare,
A snap of a twig, just a rabbit or hare,
The sounds of the woods, a distant howl,
Two eyes looking in, only an old tawny owl,
Tensions rising as we fumbled with locks,
Clattering dustbins, simply a fox,
Huddled together, riddled with fear,
Something passes outside, simply a deer,
Starting to calm, as we awaited our host,
Alas too soon, as we were met by the ghostโ€ฆ

I wish I'd played this game a lot later in my escape room career and that I'd also known about the extra 30 minutes that you could have got. Thought it was an excellent room, but at the time there was just too much to do. I think we'd definitely get on with it much better with 200+ rooms under my belt. I remember there being something pretty cool in this room that I've only seen once since.

This is the first ever escape room I have done. It was a unique birthday present for me. Again you watch a quick safety video and are briefed on the story of the room as well. There were four of us making up the party that day. I was the oldest member of the group. It really makes you think. In other words, this definitely sharpens your thinking skills for sure.

We had sixty minutes only to find things and successfully escape the room. There were lots of puzzles to solve which is quite good for your brain additionally. And did I love it? The answer is a resounding yes definitely. I definitely recommend this escape room. If you are wanting to do something different, book a escape room.

I guarantee you will love it certainly. This is a unique birthday present and is far better than going to the cinema, partying in a night club or having a birthday meal in a expensive restaurant. We all loved it. At the end we posed for a group picture. Best birthday present ever seriously. What is not to love?

The Cabin in the Woods, the second game at Escape From The Room, continues the venue's horror story theme. Moving from a haunted bedroom to the hut of a suspected witch, the players are again paranormal investigators, this time investigating the disappearance of a colleague.

The game is played in a genuine wooden cabin. Escape From The Room is based out of a house in the suburbs of South London, and the cabin is in the garden. Some suspension of disbelief is needed here: this cabin is all a bit...

A review of this Sutton-based game which comes in 60 and 90 minutes versions. Created by enthusiasts for enthusiasts - this is a game that really shows how much love has been put in.
This room really has so much to keep you going, and such variety that there is no chance youโ€™ll get bored. I really would have no hesitation in recommending this room to enthusiasts and beginners.
