story-driven

To date this is my only failed room, early on in our escape room career. Had we had more rooms under our belt I'm sure we would've escaped and by no count means this is a bad room or experience. A traditional escape room with some interesting elements and puzzles. The one downside I found was the use of a vent despite the briefing focusing on not touching elements such as sockets, etc. And it was this that cost us our time. Other than that a good room and spawned an empire

illogicalbroken techpoor hosting

Unfortunately for us we spent 20 minutes trying to solve a puzzle that we found out afterwards was broken! GM just left us to it without a get around and we sadly just stood there watching the timer just tick down! Such a shame as started with some promise!

great hosting

Relatively straight forward game but came close to breaking one of my cardinal safety rules around hot liquids.

original

It's a bit battered, but it's good fun and there was a few unexpected bits.

UFO Are Everywhere!!

Story - you're in a old mansion finding a dead body also you need find out the conspiracy theories secret and reveal it to public in 60 mins before the police show up

Theming - it's set in a old mansion so it look quite bland and empty which was a massive disappointment. There Weren't that many prop and theming so we can't just look around and appreciate the theming but we couldn't which suck. There is some good theming but very lacking

Puzzle - this room is not easy (especially we done 5 rooms in 1 day! So we was tired) as you have so much to do and it gets harder as you progress further which was the last puzzle that was the hardest (even harder with a team of 2) some unique but some extremely stressful puzzle (last puzzle) quite alot of padlock (I loved it).

Clue system - via TV

Positive -  some unique puzzle, the story was interesting and the intensity at the end was great.

Negative - theming wasnt great, some puzzle were stressful, one padlock was so sensitive, I cant remember if there was music and I hate the last puzzle.

Overall experience - out of the 5 rooms I done in 1 day this was my  least favourite as it was too stressful and lacking of theming. I will still recommend it anyone who wants a challenge bring at least 4 players.

The Panic Room's eponymous first game is set in the apartment of a conspiracy theorist, whose disappearance illustrates that just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

It's a relatively low-key modern setting, probably the least immediately impressive of the Panic Room games. However, I warmed to the game more and more as we played it, as we encountered one original puzzle after another. There were plenty of ideas that I've seen in other games, but which are implement...

A fun game with plenty of puzzles but felt a bit lacking in theming and story. A reasonable introduction for beginners but experienced players may find it a little on the easy side even with small teams.
Is it the most amazing game I’ve ever played? No. Is it fun, and a reminder of the sort of experiences that I had at the start of my escaping career that made me fall in love with this crazy hobby in the first place? Absolutely
This was a real classic escape room and you can see why the designers of this room have gone on to make such a great escape room company with so many rooms. A good set of puzzles and a lot of fun and it was one of those rooms that just clicked for us.
