Sad news to hear that Clue HQ decided to recycle their Sacrifice room, it was one of my favourite in Clue HQ as it's very different than the classic escape rooms because there was only one room in total but you got to race against another team to be the first one to escape. Those still in the room when the first team escapes is locked for ever. It could have been a bit intimidating if it's only 2 of you, we did it with a team of 6 and the first team (the ) escaped in 58:30 minutes.
Didn't find anything too original about this room. The puzzles were pretty obscure, which led to some frustration at times. The room seemed to flow OK, but getting held up by slow clues was unwelcome. It also felt like bigger groups would find some of their members not doing too much whilst other members were working on a puzzle, so a team of two probably worked best.
This pits two teams against one another in very similar challenges, which is an interesting twist. Both teams of two (one experienced player, one newbie) finished almost simultaneously. Lots of fun.

Sacrifice, currently the newest game at Clue HQ Brentwood, is a versus game; not in the sense that they run two identical copies of a stand-alone so that two teams can compete head to head, but using the rarer configuration where a single room pits one half of the team against the other, and the only way to play it is competitively. [Edit: The operator clarifies that with teams of 2-3 players, it's possible to play the game non-competitively if preferred.]

A game that with larger groups can be split so that 2 teams go head to head, but as there were only 2 of us we just played together against the clock, I think we may have been able to complete it solo. Not as much time spent on the design of the room as some of the others here, but the puzzles themselves were very enjoyable, I think this room would have been even better with another team against us, but still thoroughly enjoyable
